This vendor has changed it's name to Bumble Bee Occasions. We looked forward to all the wonderful wedding plans we discussed with Missy in our contract, but to our dismay several of the important details were messed up and not followed through with on my wedding day even though it was confirmed many times before. My bouquet was the wrong color, the grooms cake was not as big as it was supposed to be, the pedastools with the decorations were totally not what we agreed on and Missy was no where to be seen. When we would call they would rarely call back and it was very hard to communicate with them after signing the contract. I specifically wanted my cake to have a flowing cascade of hot pink roses on it, and all that was on it was a few roses radomly placed on it and they were not hot pink. A wedding vendor is supposed to take note of all the details when you repeat what you would like your wedding day to be like, and even though it was agreed upon before the wedding the Bumble Bee Occasions vendor did not do what they said they would do. After my wedding day we tried to talk to them about why so many details fell through the cracks and we expected them to admit it and appologize, but instead Missy denied it and did not appologize or try to make it better. I would not reccommend the Bubmble Bee Occasions to anyone who wants to have certain colors, decor, or a specific cake. If you don't care how it all turns out then they are the right vendor for you.

Bumblebee occasions did it all for me, the cake, catering, flowers, and decor. Missy also made sure the day went smoothly making sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to, I don't know what I would have done without them! Everything was beautiful!! Beyond what I even imagined it would be!!

This is the most horrible wedding planning experience and I can’t believe it happened to us. And we are still dealing with it. I will start from the beginning… The Orchard (wedding venue in Azle) referred us to Sissy’s catering back in February 2011 before The Orchard even opened. We were engaged for 17 months and I started planning immediately. I met with Missy and one of her associates for a tasting in March of 2011. We liked the food and the price was amazing. You got a discount if you used more than 2 of their services. And you got a discount if you paid in full. So we decided to use them for food, cakes, and flowers/centerpiece décor. And we paid in full. A little over $3,000. About 8 months later Heidi with The Orchard sent me an email saying that Sissy’s catering sold their company. I was very worried. I called Missy at Sissy’s catering and she ensured me that the only difference was new owners. Everything else was the same. In March of 2012 we went back for a tasting, as I was worried about the whole it’s a new company thing and it had been a year since we had the food.
This is where things get very very bad. The new company name is Bumblebee Occasions. The tasting was horrible. There was a new chef. I’m using the term chef very loosely as the cook was the husband of the new owner and had no idea how to create good food. The pork tenderloin was cut up and pan-fried. The chicken I’m pretty sure was frozen from Sams. The green beans were obviously canned. The chives on the mashed potatoes were dried. The cake flavors were different too and were horrible. Only a few options and they were dry. The icing was the same on all the flavors and very hard. We decided we no longer wanted to use them for food, but would still like to use them for flowers and décor. We asked for the money we paid on the food to be refunded as they have not performed any services and it was so different from what we paid for a year earlier. This was unexcitable to the new owner, Sharon. She said they relied on that money and the contracts that Sissy’s catering had on the books before they bought them out. Basically they did not have the money to refund. We had our lawyer contact them and they never actually had a contract with Sissy’s catering about taking over new contracts and did not buy our contract. So Missy is the one who would be responsible for refunding us. The only way we will ever get any money back is to take Missy to small claims court and make her file for bankruptcy as she does not have the money either. Needless to say we no longer wanted them anywhere near our wedding and did not want them to perform any services for us. This has been a nightmare and I cannot believe there are such horrible people out there who trust people this was. People who trusted them and gave them money. I hope no other Bride has to go through what we went through. Stay far far way from Bumblebee Occasions in Azle.

I used Bubblebee Occasions for 3 different events (my Rehearsal Dinner, my Wedding, and Post-Wedding Brunch). From the beginning I was skeptical of using Bubblebee Occassions. However, they had some good reviews and their Bridal show set-up was nice. Please don\'t let this fool you. They are definitely not professional. During the process of me planning my wedding they were very hard to get ahold of. The lack of communication was ridiculous . They had every excuse why they couldn\'t return my phone call or respond to my emails. When I signed my contract the company was called Sissy\'s Catering. Later on during the year apparently it was changed to Bubblebee Occassions. You would think as a courtesy to their brides they would let them know. I called the number I had for Sissy\'s Catering one day and it was disconnected. So immediately I went into a panic and I had to send my fiance over there to see what was going on. I paniced because I had paid for my 3 events in full. Which by the way, they make you pay 100% up front. I take that as the company being desperate for money.\r\n\r\nThe night of my rehearsal dinner I requested a chocolate fountain for my guest. The chocolate fountain didn\'t work which I had already paid $3.00 a person for. The night of the wedding we had the following issues: cake design was wrong, the cake layers were wrong, I requested roasted garlic potatoes and they literally gave me plain whole red potatoes, the bartender was rude to my guest, I requested chocolate covered strawberries..they gave me white chocolate covered strawberries, I paid for a cheese and cracker tray and there were no crackers, one of their employees broke a votive glass candle around the cake which didn\'t belong to them and didn\'t tell anyone. They just threw it in the trash and moved on. Not only was the bartender rude to my guest she also had the nerve to put a tip jar out. I paid a fee for a bartender and then she was getting paid by the hour as a worker...very inappropriate. The day of our post-wedding brunch we requested banana pudding and apple pie. The banana pudding was runny and had black bananas in it and the apple pie was store bought. During my tasting they told me they had a chef in house that made everything. I highly question the definition of a chef if that is what they produce. Plus when the owner and I had our discussion about everything going wrong she said the cake shop messed up. However, months prior at the tasting she told me they made the cake in house. So which is it?? All in all they are good at telling you what you want to hear.\r\n\r\nMissy the recent owner which I was dealing with when I signed my contracts said she would be at my wedding and everything would be great. However, Missy wasn\'t there and the only excuse the current owner \"Sharon\" gave me was \"well you didn\'t pay for a wedding coordinator\". No one ever mentioned a fee for Missy and Missy shouldn\'t had said she would be there. Instead, she sent some random workers. The staff was dressed very poorly and was lacking hygiene. Just because you wear khaki pants and a white dress shirt doesn\'t make you look professional especially if they are wrinkled and your shirt is gapping open. Two out of the four workers were high school kids. From day one Missy spoke negatively about my venue. Missy told me every problem they\'ve every had at my venue. If they didn\'t like my venue they shouldn\'t had taken my money. Must not be too bad of a venue if they keep doing business there. Apparently, I should have been worried about Bubblebee and not my venue. \r\n\r\nAfter several attempts of trying to contact the owner via email and phone I spoke with her. Just this process of trying to contact her took about 3 weeks. All the issues I brought to her attention she had some random excuse. Her main response to everything was \"Well you got the product and it was edible\". Instead, of taking responsibility for their actions she wanted to put the blame on the rain and everyone else. We agreed upon her sending me a check for a small amount. It took me over 4 weeks to get my check. During the 4 week time period Sharon kept telling me she mailed the check and then she avoided my phone calls. My husband finally had to go by the office and pick the check up which we live an hour away. It\'s not worth the pain to use this company especially during a special time as this. I highly recommend you do not use them for any events. There are so many other companies out there that will treat you with respect and give you the product you deserve. I really don\'t understand why they are so popular. I assume the area is small and they don\'t have much competition. \r\n\r\n

Sissy's Catering, (which now I think has changed it's name to Bumblebee Creations), was absolutely amazing.
Missy was so knowledgeable, and really helped us understand what to expect. They did our catering, flowers, bartending, and coordinating.

For the food, we got a formal taste testing of a few different menu options. We chose the chicken cordon bleu, and the pork tenderloin with Italian dressing. Everyone loved the chicken, but not so much the pork. (Which is my only negative about the whole thing)
We also had a mashed potato bar, which was a huge hit.

The flowers were amazing. Missy met us at the flower shop and let us walk through and pick what we want. I even changed them up a week before the wedding and they were still able to accommodate.

The bartender they brought in was such a nice guy, and very friendly. He did a great job-along with the rest of the staff.

For the coordinating, she helped us with everything you could imagine. We were able to bring everything we had for the wedding to her office a week before, and they transported it all there. That was a huge relief for us. During the ceremony, Missy wears a head set-along with the DJ so they are able to make sure timing is right.

I had my wedding at A&M Gardens, and it rained (first time in months), so the wedding was moved indoors. I was bummed, but Missy tried everything she could to insure I was happy. She rolled her pants up, and one by one took each one of the bridesmaids and groomsmen from the dressing room into the reception hall so we would not get wet. She was able to transform it from an outside setting to inside so quick.

I really appreciate everything the staff did and I am 100% happy with using them as my full service caterers.

Sissy's Catering did great with our international dinner for our wedding. They were really helpful in making the selection and in accommodating any special wishes for the three courses and were open to trying out new foods for our menu. It all turned out fantastic and our guests were truly impressed!

We used Sissy's Catering for our cakes, dinner, decor, flowers, bartending, and ceremony/reception direction/organization. They were wonderful!! The cakes were amazing and delicious! The food was great -- even better than our tasting!! The flowers were one of kind and were over and above what we asked for. My maid of honor said that the bartending was excellent and everyone was happy. There was a slight mix up on the sashes we ordered -- they didnt quite match. Cyndi was excellent and we discussed our options. She offered helpful solutions and threw in extras for our receptions for free to do all she could to make our experience extra special. She gave good and honest feedback whenever she thought we could edit here and there -- which was nice, since I had never done this before and will never do it again! We loved it! (and they are super close to our vender in Azle, so they were flexible whenever we needed to swing by the shop and talk after our multiple visits to A and M Gardens in Azle, TX)

I am the Mother of the Groom. The wedding was Friday night. We used Sissy's Complete Catering for the entire wedding and dinner. The entire service was spectacular. The flowers were beautiful, the food was wonderful, and Missy and her staff kept the evening moving without a single problem. This will be a night to remember. I have never in all of my years of attending weddings, tasted better wedding cakes then what we had that evening. They were the best I have ever tasted. Just FYI...I have already booked my other 2 kids weddings with Sissys this year as well.
