Skyline flowers sold us the flowers and made the arraignments through their florist. The flowers were truly magical. All my guests are still talking about it. Jessica and Joe are amazing people, they went through the extreme to ensure I had an amazing wedding. I am so grateful for them. Thank you so much.

We went the DIY route for our wedding bouquets and centerpieces, and Skyline Flowers was a great find. You can walk right into their warehouse and buy bunches of flowers picked that day, or you can make an order and pick it up. Their wedding consultant was great at pointing out flowers that matched the look we were going for, and their website was awesome for browsing pictures of all the flowers they carry. The best part is the wholesale price- I was able to get the flowers of my dreams (hello, dahlias!) for less than 1/3 of what some of my friends paid for their professional florist. Because we bought them straight from the grower, we were able to arrange them on Friday, use them for the wedding on Saturday, and never worry that they were going to wilt- in fact, several of the flowers were still going strong a whole week later!

A few of the flowers (approximately 1/10 stems) arrived looking slightly squished, but I'm not sure if that happened at the warehouse or if it happened in my brother's truck on the way to the venue. A lot of DIY websites advise ordering a few extra stems to account for this when buying wholesale flowers, so that seems like it's par for the course. I would recommend paying $10 more to rent a few extra 5-gallon buckets and make sure you have plenty of room in whatever vehicle is picking them up.

If you are looking for a full-service florist to design your centerpieces in a swanky office and deliver them straight to your tables, look elsewhere- this is not that kind of operation. A few times we had to wait on hold for a while to talk to the wedding consultant, and the service is friendly but bare-bones -they are a warehouse, first and foremost. We had to do our own trial run and calculations for how many stems we needed to achieve a certain look. But you can't beat the value and I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.

I absolutely loved Skyline Flower Growers! If you are creating your own bouquets, I highly recommend you buy fresh and local from here!
They had all the flowers I wanted, kind service and worked extremely well with me from out of state. Hector was very efficient and made the experience of buying flowers I had never heard of super easy! You can walk in with a picture and they can tell you everything that's in it!

My flowers were hideous and unbloomed. Way overpriced, too.

I would recommend Skyline flowers to anyone! They were such a great price and they were beautiful! Their building is pretty old and run-down but don't let that fool you, they doing a wonderful job and I really couldn't believe the prices. The lady may want to tell you how you want things done, but if you make sure you tell her what is important to you and don't let her decide she will listen. Taking a picture of what you want is the best idea so you know they know exactly what you are wnating

As a DIY bride, I decided to make all of my own bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and flower crowns (with some help from my mom, aunties, and friends of course!) With a little research, I found the gem that is Skyline Flower Farm. This place is amazing. My dad and I went 2 days before my wedding and scooped up dozens and dozens of dahlias, dwarf roses, baby's breath, leptospermum, eucalyptus, and, my favorite, ranunculus. We didn't have much of a plan when we showed up; we wanted all-white flowers and lots of ruffage to make pretty, organic, and rustic flower crafts, and they turned out great. For about $250 we bought everything we needed to make 2 bouquets, 6 boutonnieres, 2 corsages, and 8 flower crowns, with lots of flowers to spare.

The flower farm has 4 giant refrigerated rooms that hold all the flowers (WEAR WARM CLOTHES!!! EVEN IF IT'S 100 DEGREES OUTSIDE!!!) Someone asked if we needed help finding anything, but since we didn't know what we wanted exactly, we were happy to just wander through all of rooms on our own and pick and choose. As we were about to pay, I saw a sad-looking bucket of ranunculus and asked if they had any more; the guy disappeared and came back with several of the most gorgeous, pristine white ranunculus I could have asked for! I was thrilled, they were my favorite part of my bouquet.

DIY flower projects are not for every bride, but if you have a lot of helpers and a place as amazing as Skyline Flower Farm to buy your flowers, then it is a totally realistic way to save a TON of money :)
