The lady who oversaw our wedding was incredibly rude and impersonable. When we talked to the priest about her demeanor and behavior we were told," she donates a lot of money to our church". She was like a drill sergeant during our rehearsal and wedding. Awful experience, made worse by priest's excuse for her. We were members but left the church after this experience. I'd hate to see how she would treat non-members.

I hold this church near and dear to my heart since it is the church I belong to. It is so beautiful inside that you dont really need decor inside, however you do need to book at least a year in advance. Joan is the wedding coordinator and she is very resonsive and very helpful, but remember, this is a place of worship, not a place to rent for your wedding so there is no leeway on the church rules (they are fairly strict with the photog and videog.). This also depends on who is your day-of coordinator.

A beautiful, wonderful church. If you can accept the Catholic Faith, you should have no problem accepting all the rules this church has. The main coordinator is very kind, the marriage prep classes are actually useful if you take it seriously, and the coordinator that they provide really knows what she's doing. You do need to have your bridal party there on time and paying attention though!
We had to reschedule our wedding (family deployment) and the coordinator there was very helpful with this, and understanding. Even when I put the wrong time on my invitations she worked with the priest to get my a 330pm wedding instead of a 3pm- very out of the ordinary!
They only thing we had trouble with was the music director. In the 3 mo before the wedding we called, emailed and left him many voice-mails. He never responded, so we did not receive music for our pianist until the day of the wedding! Needless to say our psalm and alleluia were not terrific! He was never in the office to answer our questions and after we went to the meeting we never heard hide nor hair of him again.

Trying to find a church was a nightmare. With my father and brother both in Iraq, I had to paln the wedding as best I could with the hopes they could make it back. That left me with June and a Friday ceremony. Most of the churches would not return my calls and when they did would not budge on being Friday versus Saturday, no matter the circumstances. Joan was fantastic at meeting our special needs, Denise made sure everything ran smoothly and Matt played the organ aboslutely beautifully. The church is, of course, gorgeous and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have my ceremony at this glorious church. Thank you thank you thank you.

I was married at this church and it is absolutely gorgeous!! It is one of the most sought out Catholic churches to be married in Houston, and at first, I felt it was a bit difficult to get in touch with the right people to start the whole process. I first spoke with Joan (who was initially intimidating), but then decided to have my ceremony in Spanish and was told that I had to transfer my paperwork to the Hispanic ministry. Brenda (secretary) did a wonderful job and was very organized. She was helpful and informative. Whenever I called, she made sure to find responses to my questions, no matter how many people she had to speak to. Father Bill was kind and approachable, but hard to get ahold of due to his busy schedule. If I needed to relay any information to him, Brenda made sure to inform him of it. The ceremony and the atmosphere was all I had ever dreamed of. The girl who was in charge of the rehearsal was new at it, but she was a trooper and was responsive to all of the questions that we had. The church is very strict and structured with the post-ceremony photography (with all vendors, actually), so we were pretty much kicked out 15 minutes after the ceremony had finished. We moved it outside to the front of the church and finished taking some pictures there. In the end, I'm glad we stuck to this church because it was where I was baptized and it meant so much to me.
