Studio J17 is primarily operated from our home office but we do have a studio space available for client meetings.

Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
We have lighting equipment to accommodate for dimly-lit situations, however we usually do not use them as they can be an obstruction to the event. If a client requests that we bring light we are willing.
How many videographers do you work with?
Our average weddings are captured by two videographers, but an additional third videographer can be requested.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
Yes, all of our clients can meet with us plenty of times before the wedding to ensure everything is perfect.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Our presence and professionalism is 100% guaranteed.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We typically do not book 2 events on the same day, but will book more than 1 within a weekend.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Our equipment consists of Professional HD Cameras, Professional Microphones including wireless LAV for the groom at the ceremony, Tripods, Handheld stabilizers, carrying cases and a laptop computer.
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We take minimum break of 30 Minutes a maximum of 1 Hour - dependent upon the lenght of the event. Our clients are responsible for providing the meal for our team.
Do you charge overtime?
If an event calls for more than 10 hours of our service, we require a overtime fee which will be discussed upon consultation.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Only upon client requests. There is no fee for unedited/lightly edited versions of the ceremony, toasts and key dances (such as father/daughter) but there is a fee to release all of the raw footage from the entire event.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for deals, contents, etc.?
We do reserve the right to use past work in future promotions, however clients footage will never be sold or given to anyone for research purposes. Any client can request for us not to use their footage in our promotions.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
Studio J17 will determine what is best to suit our overall editing and production style. We welcome client's input, but we cannot promise to address all of the client's suggestions/concerns. The client is not directly involved in the editing process, however we occasionally send previews of the video in progress for client's viewing pleasure.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
To ensure success and quality of the completely edited video we ask that clients please allow 6 - 10 weeks of editing time.
Do you require a minimum number of hours to book?
We prefer to work a minimum of 5 hours to capture the essence of the day for our clients, but we do offer ceremony coverage only packages for those who are interested.

Leo did a phenomenal job on our wedding photographs. Leo was very flexible and allowed me to send him any inspirational ideas prior to our big day. Leo travelled to our wedding location without any hesitation. I would also like to add that our wedding was two hours from his studio location! Leo had great ideas and was a natural photographer.

I had originally put a great review for this vendor, because I did truly like him and his work. Unfortunately as time progressed after the wedding we realized we were not receiving the things we were promised. We were promised to be able to have raw footage from the day, and to get our hands on anything took much prying and continuous requests. Important events were missed such as the bouquet and guarder toss which was the most important one for me to be captured on video! I had given a list to the team of what I wanted then to capture, and his remark to missing said event was "he did not reference it often." My biggest problem bottom line was misleading me to believe I was getting something I was not. The end video was great, but I wanted to still be able to see me whole day without as many bells and whistles. It is not that the end product it not of high quality it is the clarity of services that leaves you confused and upset, when it gets turned around and you are now blamed for these short comings.

Studio J17 is never happy to see the dissatisfaction of any client and for this we are truly sorry. The client did receive exactly what was promised in their contract upon initial booking. However, there was a misunderstanding between the client and Studio J17 as to if they were going to receive a RAW/unedited version of their entire day - something that our company never releases; except for the unedited versions of the Ceremony, Dances and Other main events only upon request. To help remedy the situation, we did issue the client several DVDs that contained all of their unedited footage. Again we are truly sorry over the dissatisfaction with this client and Studio J17's packages and overall consultation process have been updated to become more clear and easy to understand to help prevent future misunderstandings.

Leo has an awesome personality and his upbeat energy is definitely a plus to work with. His talent was truly showcased in the highlight video he created for us for the 3 days he worked with us. I see him as an up upcoming rising star in the field! :) Thanks Leo

There are not enough words out there to describe the incredible-ness of Leo and his work. He is extremely dedicated and motivated in what she does. His work reflects the passion he has to his profession. He goes the extra mile to accommodate his clients. He takes time with his clients to go over details and needs and wants. this is the 2nd time i have worked with Leo and i have officially made him our family video/photographer. One of the great things about Leo is that he takes time to understand and learn your customs and rituals and incorporates your entire culture in his videos.
