I don't know if this post is appropriate but I think it merits posting. I do not know this store, but I am very familiar with the complaints of the brides. I should let all of you know that I worked in a bridal store for two years before becoming a bride. Personally, I don't think brides realize how hard it is to lift and hang the dresses, take notes, try to meet your needs, smile when your feet are killing you and the arms feel like lead. You probably also have no clue how expensive it is to run a business and purchase all of the gowns. The reason stores change tags on dresses is simple. Brides USE the stores to try on tons of dresses until they can find their dream dress. Once they know who makes it, they don't think twice about buying their dresses online or at another store that never spent a minute helping them. Is it legal? YES. Is is moral? NO. If for a single moment, an unethical person thought what she was doing was right, she would not hide it from the bridal store she visited. If you have to hide it, you know what you are planning to do is not O.K. Personally, I think any business can charge what they want. If you think it is too expensive, don't buy it and don't try it on. But to spend dozens of hours in a store, find what you want and then go out and buy it elsewhere is just plain wrong. Maybe this example may make you see it from another point of view. When you try to sell your car, you clean it up, try to be pleasant to the future buyer and hopefully you will be able to sell the car for a good price. How would you feel if you allowed a potential buyer to test drive your car for several days and then found out that he was just using you to see if that was the car he wanted and that he had no intention of ever buying it from you? Is that fair? Or, let's say you sold the car for a price you both had agreed upon. Now your buyer comes back a month later and tells you he saw the same car for less in another place? Do you honestly think it is right for him to ask you to give him back some of the money and would you feel like giving it back? I don't know this store and I can't see why they would have to refund any money if both of you agreed on a price. I also want to get a good deal but I just would not use a service and then not pay for the service I received. Probably brides should ask, before buying a dress, if the store price matches and if so, for how long. Hope this makes some of you see that there are two points of view.

This place is a HUGE rip-off. They take the designer labels out of the dresses...add their own "couture" tag and wont tell you who designed it. We did not fall for it. Looked through a ton of catalogs and found our dress for $800 that they were trying to sell for $2,300!!!! WOW

The bridal Suite is able to modify most dresses to fit/look like the bride wants it to look. Average when it comes to value... you get what you pay for.

I had a bad experience with the Bridal Suite. They lied to me about who designed my dress. I tried to find the dress at other stores, but I couldn't, so I bought it from them. Months later, I discovered the true designer of my dress. I found the model number, and called around to find what other stores charged for it. The average price for my dress was $700. The Bridal Suite told me it was a $2000 dress, but would give me a "deal" for $1550. They are allowed to charge whatever they want for the dress, but they are not allowed to lie to me so that I can't make an informed decision. I had a lawyer handle it. At first they responded that they had made a mistake but chose not to tell me because they didn't want to worry me. They also still tried to charge me $900 for it. After the lawyer's second letter, they relented and luckily, I got a fair price for the dress. I do NOT recommend going anywhere near this store.

BAD EXPERIENCE- OVERCHARGED ME AND LIED: When I bought my dress, I was told that the designer was "Paul Cade." I tried to find that designer online, but I was never able to find him. I tried for two weeks to find the dress somewhere else, but I couldn't, so even though I had a bad feeling about the shop,I bought it there. I was told the dress was $2000, but they gave me a "discount," and I paid $1550 plus a $175 special order fee. Four months later, I met another girl who bought her dress there, who had also been told her dress was by Paul Cade. When she told me she figured out her dress was by another designer, I researched, and found out mine was actually by Casablanca. I called other stores and found that the average price was $600 or $700. I had a lawyer contact the store and deal with it. At first, they responded with excuses and still tried to overcharge me. After my lawyer wrote them another, harsher letter, they agreed to the price that I wanted. It was a huge hassle that I did not need while planning my wedding and going to school, and I strongy recommend AVOIDING this shop all together. Dishonest, nasty people.

Nightmare: When I purchased my dress I was told it was made by Paul Cade, an "exclusive, private label designer in New York" who only sold to a few select bridal shops in the country. My dress took 6 months to come in, and shortly before it arrived I found it online. Not only was it not made by "Paul Cade", the exclusive designer, it was a Mon Cheri dress and on their best seller list, and other local shops were selling it for 1/3 the price I was charged. I had to put up quite a fight with the salon owner before she agreed to give me a portion of my 60% deposit back. She had ripped the Mon Cheri tag out of the dress and put a Bridal Suite Collection tag in.

The Bridal Suite is sure to make your wedding a magical day. The wonderful customer service is outstanding. My wedding dress was the third dress I tried on, all I did was give the wedding consultant an idea of the type of dress I was looking for and she knew my taste right away. Thr prices are also unbeatable. I have to say that the service was phenomenal, especially when compared to Bridal reflections, where you are not allowed to even look at dresses without an appointment. Trust me, you will not be dissatisfied with the great service The Bridal Suite has to offer.

I am fuming. My experience with this vendor was horrible. I flew into Toronto because there are only two stores in Canada that carry the designer that I wanted. I found the dress I wanted and that is where the good part of this story ends. I live in western Canada and needed my dress shipped to me. After Bridal Suite notified me that my dress had arrived from Europe I called to give them (Bridal Suite) my credit card number for the rest of the payment and shipping charges, the store manager, Amanda, said that she had already shipped the dress a few days earlier and that I should expect it within the week. She even went as far as to tell me how she packed my dress. Two weeks went by and there was still no sign of my dress. So I emailed Bridal Suite asking if I could have the tracking number so that I could contact Canada Post to see when my dress was. My wedding is a few weeks away and I have already missed a fitting because my dress still isn't here. She replied the next morning telling me that there had been a delay and that the dress should be in my hands in a few days. She then provided me with the tracking number. So I went to the Canada Post website and it says package was received at the post office ... the night before. THEY HADN'T EVEN SHIPPED MY DRESS! Furious, I called the Bridal Suite for some type of explanation as to why my dress was not shipped two weeks prior when I was told it had been shipped, and all she could say is that she was on vacation and that the dress is now on its way. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE, EVER!
