Anniversary (Top) Tier is included in all wedding/commitment cermony pricing. In addition, at 1st anniversary, a replacement Anniversary Tier is provided - heart-shaped, 2 layer cake with filling of your choice. You must contact me at least one (1) month prior to the date to arrange for it to be made and delivered.
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
All cakes are custom. Dimensional cakes are priced higher due to complexity of structures and delicate transportation requirements.
What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?
French/Swiss Buttercream is a specialty! It gives a tremendous buttery flavor while cutting back on the intensity of the sweetness. No grainy texture to be had when you choose French/Swiss Buttercream.
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
Cakes are baked within 24 hours of a wedding or commitment ceremony. For larger events, it may require 3-5 days of baking to create enough layers.
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
I work with only one couple per date - this provides exclusivity to your event.
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
