Found my beautiful wedding gown at The Dresser!! Wow did they make it easy! I found exactly what I was looking for in their gorgeous store. They have a great selection of dresses and the staff did a wonderful job helping me find my dress. I bought my veil and did my alterations through them as well. The alterations were PERFECT and I was even more amazed and happy with how well my dress fit me and looked after the whole process. AMAZING experience overall!

I said yes to the dress at The Dresser in Fullerton! Amanda was such a warm and friendly salesperson from the get go that I was certain I'd find the "one" there! She started off by asking me details I had in mind about the wedding itself as well as my style preferences to get a feel for the type of dress that would best fit my wedding day. She picked out seven dresses for me to try on and I only made it to dress number four before I found it. From the moment I came out in it, I knew I would be getting married in that dress. (Just writing this review makes me want to go back and try it on again!)

The selection of dresses that they have there is outstanding! They have dresses that would fit any budget big or small. My budget was around $1k - $1.5k, and the dress Amanda found for me was $1499. Be forewarned, there was an added charge to adjust the length of the dress (an Essence of Australia dress), but that means saving money on alterations down the line. So worth it! I also ordered the veil with it, so all-in-all I ended up spending around $2k there. Worth it for the service and selection, imo!

This was the first place I looked, and Sierra did an amazing job helping me find THE dress! She brought me dresses based on what I thought I wanted, and a few that she thought I might like based on how I reacted to each dress. The Casablanca dress I chose was one I never would have looked twice at, but Sierra was spot on! Everyone at The Dresser was professional and my dress arrived on time. Wish I could wear my dress more than once!

I had the best wedding dress experience at the Dresser! I really appreciated their no-frills, no-fuss approach. They are so service friendly and help those of us who know nothing about wedding dresses find the perfect match! Amanda was beyond incredible-she really takes the time to understand not only what you like in a dress, but what the look/feel of your wedding, venue, etc. are. Trust these ladies and try on everything they bring-have an open mind! If I didn't, I would not have even considered the dress I fell in love with. They have a great eye and can tell what will/won't work. They are also spot-on with their advice on what size to order-I think Amanda was going down to the millimeter at one point to ensure my dress would be the right size! Marianne, the owner, is fabulous, as well. She is such a meticulous seamstress and can probably make any dress fit any way you like-mine fit like a glove when it was all said and done! I bought my veil here, too-something I did not think I needed guidance on. Their selection is extensive, but not overwhelming. Prices definitely within reason for the gowns they carry. I cannot compliment the Dresser more. You end up spending quite a bit of time on your dress, so an experienced and friendly staff is definitely a must!

I had such a great experience with The Dresser. This was my first destination for wedding gown shopping and I'm so glad I didn't have to go anywhere else! My first time trying on dresses was great, I felt like I tried on just what I needed to narrow down my options, my consultant even helped me accessorize the dress I chose! Fittings were done step by step based on what needed to be done, and the results were always flawless. Highly recommend!

I got my wedding dress, hair piece, and bridesmaids dresses from The Dresser. Everybody here is very nice and helpful. The reason I'm not giving The Dresser 5 stars is because at the end of the day, I wasn't thrilled with my alterations that I had done there. I had many appointments (4-5) to get alterations done on my seemingly simple dress, mainly to fix some bunching/folding that was happening at the torso of my strapless, fitted lace gown and to shorten it. When I arrived for my last appointment, the week before my wedding, I was told that my alterations hadn't been completed because there was a computer glitch that erased my appointment. This being said, I was pretty upset and we were told that if we waited an hour they could finish the alterations. Even though my weekend was jam packed with wedding details to work on, I told them that I could come back the next day because I didn't want them to rush through my alterations, but they told me that an hour was plenty of time to do what I needed done. We waited, and when we returned and I tried on my dress again, the bunching/folding was still present in my torso. She made more alterations and I picked up my dress a week later just in time for my wedding. I asked to try it on one more time before I left even though it was packaged up so nicely. When I tried it on the bunching/folding appeared to have been fixed so I was relieved. I should have walked around in it though because then I would have realized that the fabric would ride up my hips and bunch at the waist just as it did my entire wedding night. It's been a few months and I've received my professional wedding pictures back, and the fabric is bunched at my waist in almost every single picture which is so disappointing because it really takes away from the beautiful nature of the lace. I'm pretty frustrated because I feel like this issue should have been addressed in my alterations appointment being that no bride just stands still for her whole wedding.

I found my dream dress here. Even on the hanger I told the person helping me it was going to be the dress. After the first trip I didn't place my order because we were too far away from my wedding and I was worried that I would change my mind. The Dresser then called me a week later and asked me to come back in for a trunk show. At the trunk show I tried on the same dress and again confirmed that it was definitely my wedding dress. I let them know that I wouldn't be ordering it that day as it was still too far from my wedding day but I would order it another day.

About a month later I went to order my dress at another store since they offered me $100 towards alterations for the dress. I was informed that the designer had discontinued my dress and it was no longer available for order. Everyone who worked in the store told me that The Dresser should have called me to let me know if was going to be discontinued. Even though both times I went to try on dresses I had a great time I would never recommend this store to anyone.

I feel bad for the people who have been mistreated by any bridal shop. I too had a bad experience, at the Dresser in Fullerton and was very unhappy with the way they treated me and irritated when they proceeded to bad mouth The Wedding Day to discourage me from wanting to go there.. They suggested that I read the customer reviews on line regarding hidden fees and alterations.... So I started doing my own research and found a couple bad reviews for the Wedding Day, but I found many more for the Dresser. The sales people completely ignore you until you speak up and let them know you have an appointment. Then they tell you it will only be a few minutes, when in fact you wait for like 20 mins, which wouldn't be so bad if you knew that you could walk around and look at everything. But nobody bothers to tell you that!! They just let you sit there like a fool waiting for someone to come out. I felt like a gnat on the wall and then when they finally did help me, they didn't even listen to what I was saying I had to repeat myself several times before the sales girl finally understood that I was there to try on a specific dress, which was why I had made the appointment in the first place, but they don't even note that in there book. They just let you waste your time like I did, in the lobby for almost a half hour. I can understand Saturdays are busy, but they had several people working and nobody said, feel free to look around while you wait, or let me pull the dress you came in to see. They finally started looking for it after like 20 minutes to stall more time for someone to help me try it on. Then she put it in the TINY dressing room and never came and told me what to do. So I waited some more!!! The whole staff was snobby and uninformed!! They didn't know the answer to almost any of my questions and had to check in the computer or they would just tell me, " Well it doesn't really matter as long as you like the dress" . Wrong!!! It does matter that's why I asked!! I want to know the designer's name and the color. But they don't know that information because they rip all the tags out and don't even note white or ivory on the tag so how are you supposed to know!!! But "it doesn't even matter" according to them. And don't even bother asking them to pin the dress to make it look decent because they said it wouldn't work! So I just stood there holding it up with my hands and trying to envision what it would look like if it were 2 sizes smaller. The more I think about my experience the angrier I get!! I called the Wedding Day regarding the comment about hidden fees and expensive shipping and I have no idea where $300.00 came from, but the shipping cost is $30.00 not $300.00, which I found was particularly odd considering that the Dresser recommended I go on line and read the reviews about the Wedding Day and low and behold here are some comments that matched exactly what the sales girl at the competition was telling me.........hmmmmmmmmmmm... Coincidence??? I wonder who is really writing these bad reviews, kinda makes you wonder what to believe.... So I am going with my gut instinct and I will be making my purchase at the Wedding Day in Fountain Valley, because so far they have been nothing but nice and extremely informative and helpful. I have phoned them several times prior to my appointment and they have never pressured me to come in or brush me off, they have spent plenty of time assisting me on the phone and answering all of my questions.... It is because of that that I am going to happily make an appointment and spend my money there. If they can provide excellent service over the phone, I am sure they will be equally as helpful in person. I encourage anyone who has a negative experience with this store to take the time to speak up! The information is very useful to shoppers such as myself and I am sure many other Brides to Be as well!

I ended up buying my dress at THE DRESSER. I went during their crazy annual sale. Got my Winnie Couture dress with amazing details for only $500. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because their selections was few for this sale. But everything else was amazing...$500 for a $2500 dress!! FYI: During this sale, you only have 15min in the store to pick and try on. There is a long line and I recommend being one of the first (I was the first), so that you have first "dibs" on the whatever you like. I took 3 girls with me, 2 to collect dresses to bring and 1 to help me try on...it was interesting nevertheless. Friends episode with Monica, Rachel and Phoebe in the wedding store fighting is what orginially flashed in my mind!

I loved the atomsphere at THE DRESSER!! It's open but intimate! I had 6 girls with me and all of them were comfortable in the viewing room. The ladies there are sweet. I went there on a Satrday so it's expected to be busy. But, my consultant was running late before I got there, which in turn made me feel pressured to finish. But, other than that, i loved my experience. I plan to go back very soon to order my wedding dress. Their prices are really reasonable. :o)

My experience with The Dresser was full of hits and misses. The misses seemed to come from the same person though so I didn't let that outweigh how wonderful everything else was so here's my review: I e-mailed the store about their selection and received fast and friendly responses each time. Based on those encounters I decided to make the trip down to Fullerton to check out the store in person. I made an appointment for a weekday mid-day to avoid the weekend crowds. I arrived a little before schedule and because I was unfamiliar with the area, I decided to give them a call and ask about their parking situation. Whoever answered the phone very gruffly replied that I should park on the street. I tried to thank her and explain that I wasnt familiar with the area so I wanted to make sure it was okay and she kind of proceeded to huffily tell me to park in front of their shop in a sort of duh" way as if she was annoyed with my question. I was about ready to turn around right there and go home but since we had already made the journey there I decided to give them another chance and see how they were in person. They were completely empty when I got inside. My consultant, Diana, greeted me and registered me and asked me what I liked and didnt like and sort of got a feel for what I hoped to find. At some point some other older lady came out from the back and gave us a weird look ("no hello, how's it going" either). Im not sure what her deal was but I felt that was sort of out of place since we had made an appointment and it wasnt like we just wandered in off the street. The salon itself is very impressive. Its clean and well organized and has a big selection. They basically have two big rooms full of dresses organized on racks (against walls) by designer and I was allowed to wander and pull as many dresses as I wanted. My consultant also pulled ones that she thought I would like. She had a dressing room ready for me with the dresses I had chosen to try on already organized nearby. The dressing room itself is tiny but it at least has a mirror so you can check yourself out before you go into the lounge area with the wall to wall mirrors and heart-shaped step stools for you to stand on. They also dont follow you into the dressing room so you can dress and undress yourself and then let them know youre ready so they can pin you into the dresses. I thought that was a nice touch since I was pretty much clipped into dresses everywhere else and the pins helped to give a better/more fitted idea of how dresses look on you. I liked that the lounge area had huge sofas so it allowed my family to view me comfortably. Its probably the BEST set-up out of all the salons Ive been to because most only had a couple of chairs or none at all. I also appreciated that they allowed you to take pictures. As an indecisive bride, photos are important and Im so glad that I was allowed to take them so I could go home and critique them. Diana was really friendly and pulled some amazing dresses for me and engaged my family in fun conversation while I dwelled in my dresses. I appreciated that because I know how boring it can be for other people to go dress shopping with me and it gave me time to think about the dresses on my own without having to worry that Im taking too long. (It helped that they were empty though because I dont think it would be the same on a weekend). After my first round, I was allowed to look in the 2nd room for more dresses but didnt find many more to try on so I tried on the ones from my first round that I loved. At some point my FI came into the shop to see if we were ready to go (my phone was on silent) and this is where things got a little more sour. The lady that had given us a look when we first went in, came into the lounge and asked for me and told me that some guy was wandering her store looking for me. I told her it was probably my FI and asked if he could come into the lounge and she retorted, I dont care. So if you dont care, then why come in all gruff and say it like he was aimlessly wandering your store? When he was finally allowed to come in where I was he said there was no one at the front and he was actually looking for someone that worked there when she showed up sort of angrily and asked him what he wanted. I felt that her attitude was uncalled for and sort of made me take a star away from them because other than the look and the phone call, they were doing really well by me. If it wasnt for how great Diana was with us I probably wouldnt have ever wanted to go back, but her all-star treatment and performance helped elevate the Dresser to recommended status for me. They have gorgeous gowns that arent at all like every other store and have a really nice set-up and are very no-pressure. So as nasty as that other lady was, Diana and the store itself was well worth the drive down to Fullerton. The only reason I didn't buy anything from the store was because the dress I ended up wanting to buy was from a designer they didn't carry. Otherwise, I probably could've overlooked grouch-lady and given Diana my business. If you're in the area, make an appointment with Diana (or Alice) and they'll take care of you. :)

I would have bought my dress here If I hadn't found a dress at another store that was super discounted. Great prices, great dress selections. This was the first bridal store I went to, and I was very happy with my visit. I just walked in without an appointment, and they accommodated me and treated me very well. The sales girl was so bubbly and helpful even though she knew I was only looking and had no intentions of buying anything that day. I definitely recommend it. Oh, and they allow you to take pictures, unlike other places.

Was not too fond of this place, the staff was a bit brash and even though I had an appointment service was a bit slow and chaotic. They have a lot of dresses-- they especially have a lot of the sleeker evening gown styles-- but the condition of samples was not that great and the dressing rooms and mirrors also needed a bit of touch-up/upkeep. One cool thing about this place though is that they actually pin you in the dress instead of using clips so you can see what it would really look like (without all the chip-clips).

I went to the Dresser for their annual (semi-annual?) wedding dress sale - $100 a dress! It was such a great deal! After waiting in line for a couple of hours, I got to go in and shop. Even in 15 minutes time limit, the staff was super friendly and very helpful! I enjoyed the shopping experience a lot. The store had beautiful gowns from lots of designer labels. I would definitely recommend the dresser!

Diana at The Dresser is simply the best!!! Customer service is relly important to me and she has superb customer service. She made looking for and finding a wedding dress a breeze. I went to over 20 bridal salons and she was so easy going and informative about my dress changes. I would definetely recommend to all my friends to go here. I was even a little bummed that I didn't find bridesmaid dresses here (I'm getting them made) because I would have loved to give them more business!

I used to live up the street from the Dresser and would drive by it every day on my way to work waiting until I could go inside I finally was able to last month and loved it! I worked with Alice who was so great and helpful, she even let me take pictures so I could remember each dress. I did go to a few different stores after to see additional selections but ended up coming back to the Dresser to order my Maggie Sottero dress, as it was a few hundred dollars cheaper than the other places I looked! They have a great selection and Alice is awesome. I have already referred a couple friends to them and they too loved the selection and helpfulness of their staff.

Appointment are absolutely necessary here ! they wont help you at all without one. I walked in today with my mother and grandmother for the Casablanca trunk show and saw two gowns that I wanted to try on. I asked them if I could just quickly try them on since I did not see them helping any brides at the moment. I even told them that I would be fine if I didn't get much help as long as I get to see how they look. They replied with a no, I was not able to even try them on without an appt. I then asked if I could get the style number of the dresses and they told me that they used special number for their store and that if I wanted to get the style number to get it from the internet. I then asked if I could then get the designer and the lady told me a different designer which after a while of searching online I found was incorrect. I feel that gown shopping is a big part of wedding planning and that a bride should get a good experience. Unfortunately I did not get one here, I received way better service at Davids Bridal and Alfred Angelo which most brides know is not the best.

I purchased my wedding dress from The Dresser. It was a pleasant experience and my dress was beautiful! The ladies are nice and helpful. I visited other wedding dress salons and was not impressed. The Dresser has a decent selection, the sales people are not pushy and the prices are somewhat reasonable.

I loved my dress! It was a Maggie Sotero that I found at this cute shop for only $500.00! I was hesitant to go in at first after seeing the big stores (David's Bridal & Alfred Angelo's) but I am soooo happy that I did, It was the best decision of my entire wedding, I found the dress of my dreams and It's true that once you put it on, you just know it's the one! The ladies were very helpful, appointments were made to work around my busy schedule, the dress was perfect on the day of, they taught my MOH how to tie the back up and everything! I even got my veil and crown there :)
