When I found out that the Flower Zone was under new ownership/management, I felt anxious and stressed. But, the new staff at the Flower Zone put me at ease as we worked together on ideas. The bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, ceremony flowers, and reception centerpieces turned out so gorgeous! Everything was delivered to the proper location on time. Everyone's flowers were labeled--it was so organized! Thank you, Carol, Cassandra, and the staff at the Flower Zone, for doing such a wonderful job with the flowers!

I'm writing this review for other couples who have contracts with The Flower Zone and are unaware that they are out of business. Both Scott and Carol handled their business dealings with zero integrity and took advantage of their customers. My fiancée and I met with the owner Scott at the end of August 2010. He happily took our $600 deposit and sold his business a week later. Several months later, we found out through a friend that he no longer owned the business. We never received a call from the new owner to update us of the change. We called and spoke to the new owner, Carol. After threatening a lawsuit against Scott, saying he ran off with all of the wedding contracts and deposits, Carol said she would honor the deposit as long as we could show her proof that we made the deposit. We met with Carol and her assistant Cassandra in March. We had our misgivings during that meeting as Carol bragged about Cassandra having worked with David Tutera. Meanwhile, they could not create an artistic vision, seemed disorganized, and kept surfing the internet to look up pictures of flowers. If it weren't for the $600 deposit, we would have walked away.

Fast forward to May when I called The Flower Zone multiple times and got no answer. I drove by the store, and there is a "For Rent" sign in the window. Apparently, Carol closed up shop after Mother's Day weekend and never called any of her customers. I called the realtor that is renting the place, and he said Carol vanished. Thankfully, my fiancée and I have a few months until our wedding and were able to find a wonderful florist. We learned lessons from this experience. Our new florist said a $600 deposit is too much (She only requires a $200 deposit). Always pay with a credit card as our credit card company was able to refund the $600 deposit. Finally, it's a good idea to get referrals from the banquet hall where you're having your wedding as they have seen the work of multiple vendors.

Flower Zone was amazing. We gave them a budget, told them exactly what we wanted, and they made it happen. It was important for us to have fabulous flowers on a budget. At first we weren't going to do flower centerpieces, but I am SO glad we did. The owner, Scott, is extremely creative. We told him the colors we wanted and gave him complete creative freedom and loved the result.

Loved working with Scott, he was wonderful. However, only 1 person was sent to my reception hall to set everything up on the 18 tables, & decorate the cake. The centerpeices came out a little sloppy looking and the cake looked horrific eventhough a picture was given. The bouquets were pretty, but one was forgotten upon delivery. I noticed about an hour later and had to call the shop to get it delivered. Could have been a diaster if I did not notice. That shouldnt be something I had to be concerned with as I was getting ready for my wedding.

Scott did a great job on the centerpieces and bouquet. I loved my bouquet so much that I sent it out to have it preserved.
