The service from the assigned staff was great. There was an incident where we found an employee not assigned to our function in the bridal suite, seemingly looking around!?!? The champagne for the bride and groom vanished from the suite by the staff, I guest we didn't open it in the allotted time. The dinner ( chicken breast in mushroom sauce, yellow tasteless rice and string beans that were delicious) was less than satisfying, so I suggest you only go with the fried chicken (that's what I had in the past) if you choose the Forum. We payed for sodas since there would be no alcohol and when I noticed there was none I was told "if our guest asked for it then it would be provided" WHAT!?!? I was disappointed with the Forum, there are no do overs!

The Forum Cateres served its purpose and met our basic needs. I grew frustrated with management for not letting us know in advance that dinner would not start until my husband and I sat down. We were so excited that we immediately began greeting our guests upon our arrival. Had we known they were waiting on us to be seated for our guests to eat we obviously would have taken our seats. Dinner was served an hour later than planned. There was some issue when our guests arrived about the time they would be permitted to enter the hall leaving a lot of people frustrated. Ultimately, all of the concerns that we had, mostly minor, were resolved relatively quickly and professionally. We went with the Forum because it was well within our budget which was a definite plus.

Ms Yvette Monroe, a consultant went out on a limb to help make my day fabulous. We are so appreciative. They provided a lovely meal and the cake was awesome. Having the catering, serving, venue, and cake provided all at one location was very cost effective and helped with some of the stress. They are willing to work with out vendors with restrictions that are understandable. My wedding was of 100 and we used the Yale room. They just got finished doing some renovations to the building right before my event so everything was pristine. This is a good choice for a budget conscious couple who also appreciates elegance and class.

The food was served cold. When it was time for the champagne toast, the bride and groom had not been served, so we missed the glass chink toast ((
The carpets were damp, thus so was the bottom of my dress! That was NOT cool!

I am highly allergic to seafood and there was another affair being hosted at the same time, obviously they served shrimp, because one of the servers hid a plate of shrimp in my bridal suite and I got lighheaded and NAUSEOUS RIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING! I had to act unladylike to get her to remove the plate. I didn't want my gown and bridal suite smelling like fish! EEWWWWW! Most of the people were accomodating, but they didn't show common sense for the most part. The wedding was beautiful as is the Forum, but their staff may need catering 101 again.

This vendor was all inclusive, the reception venue, the cake, hall decor and catering. The food was good and the service professional. A little pricy I think. But it was my daughter's wedding and she happy, that's all that matters.

People warned me that I should not have my wedding reception at the Forum Caterers. Years ago I heard that the food was excellent so I decided that I would have my reception there despite the numerous amount of people that had given me horror stories from their recent experiences. I talked to the manager about the things that I'd been hearing and she assured me that everything would go well and that the food would be delicious. We went to 3 food tastings so I could make sure that the food was up to my expectations. The food at the tasting was delicious. The food at my reception was HORRIBLE. Not only was the food cold, but the chicken breast was not done all the way. Several tables of people threw away all of their food as it was uncooked, cold, and dry. The service that we got from the hostesses were horrible as they constantly complained that people on their staff called out that day and they were short staffed. My husband and I had to get something to drink from one of our guest tables as the hostess never brought us out anything to drink (we thought that the bride and groom atleast got something to drink). I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE FORUM CATERERS. The price is good but when you consider that most of the food will be thrown away because of how horrible it tastes and the staff is rude...you have really wasted your money.
