Thank you so much Mission Inn. We have been coming here for getaways for years and finally had our wedding here. Everyone here made it so easy--the dj (Main Event Productions), florist (International Flower Loft) and photographer (T.K. Photography) they suggested were all fantastic and did their jobs without causing us stress. The wedding planners Amber and Anderson handled everything extremely well. The baker made an absolutely beautiful (and delicious) cake and the food and service at the ceremony and reception were exceptional. The technical people made the Spanish Gallery as beautiful as we wanted it to be. The best part was introducing this great place to all of our friends from all over the country. Everyone was blown away and some, even locals, had never been there before. Also, special mention to Kristien the concierge who handled all our guests and their plans with great energy--as always.

I am so happy with my wedding at the Mission Inn. The only thing I wish was that I had gone over timing of the ceremony better, but that was my fault. I tried not to get stressed as it was pouring rain that weekend, but the expert staff quickly moved awnings in and out of the way as needed. Which is no small task. We had a great day. It went by SO fast. Our pictures were fantastic. How could they not be with such an amazing back drop? We keep getting compliments on how good the food was. Everyone expected typical wedding food and were blown away with how great everything tasted. With all the excitement, I was unable to eat much at the wedding, so our lovely caterer gave us dinners to go to eat after the wedding. That was great and so relaxing. If we had to do it all over again, we would still choose Mission Inn.

We just had our wedding here on September 1, 2013. Everyone that has attended our wedding keeps telling us that is the most beautiful wedding that they have ever been too. The Mission Inn is very professional and I felt like my wedding went perfect, without any problems. The Mission Inn is not only a beautiful locale, but the staff is outstanding as well. Everyone treated us and our families like royalty and we felt very spoiled. The hotel is really a 'one stop shopping' experience as we had it all under one roof: the rooms, the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony and reception. The catering staff and wedding consultants know their stuff and were there for us the whole way through. One of our guests commented on the wait staff "Now these are professional waiters and waitresses!"
We made many visits to The Mission Inn prior to our wedding ceremony and will continue to enjoy the many events they host throught the year. This magical place will always hold a place in our hearts.

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding or location. The Mission Inn is beautiful! We got married over a year ago and people still talk about it. The service was great. Patricia and Jennifer are both very helpful and we found them easy to get a hold of. All of the vendors we used off their list did an incredible job. The Inn has preferred vendors that can be selected for everything from cake, to flowers, to officiants which makes the task of finding vendors a bit easier. The Inn provides a coordinator to help with everything! My coordinator was the sweetest girl on the planet and she made everything flow with ease by suggesting ideas and just to make us laugh in what would be a stressful time. The reception was catered by the Inn's expert chefs and everything was delicious!! I am so glad we chose the Inn over our original plan for a winery wedding -- we got everything we wanted here for MUCH less!

Everything about our experience with them has been top notch and classy. We had our reception in the Spanish Art Gallery and have received many compliments about how good the food was (the fondue fountain was a hit) and the overall ambiance. This location was so beautiful, we knew it was the place for our wedding. The St. Francis of Assisi chapel at the Inn is beyond gorgeous and has that old-smal-church feel to it. It is nondenominational so we had a catholic ceremony at our church the day before and asked our deacon to come officiate at the Inn. we had the reception in the Galleria which is right next to the chapel so our lovely cocktail hour was held in the courtyard in front of both rooms. They have great rooms that hold anywhere from 50 to 300 guests. Our was meant to accommodate 125-175 and our final count was just 100 but it still turned out great.

The rooms at the Inn are exceptional. A room for bride and groom is included in the wedding packages which is super nice. The staff in general are supper accommodating, chilling champagne for us and grabbing umbrellas out of our valeted car. Also all of the sales and catering people are exceptional and will help make the wedding absolutely exactly what you've already imagined. The great thing about this place is the outdoor appeal for photos, etc. so try not to get married during rainy season. Who knew it would rain in November? Oh well, no biggy, everything still looked beautiful, I just had a wet train.

Had our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant Bella Trattoria which is attached to the Mission Inn and it was amazing. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was super good too.

Loved everything about it, can't wait to go back for visit!

The coordinators were very responsive and catered to our needs. It's at a 4.5 for responsiveness because my coordinator took a couple of days to respond to my emails (she was out with the flu). Other than that it was fine.

The food was great as well as the service for the bride and groom, but I gave the quality of service a 4 because I heard that a waiter or waitress being snappy at a few of my guests with the coffee and water.

This venue has a 2 chapels as well as several rooms/settings to choose from for your reception. We used the St. Francis Chapel, which holds up to 170 guests and the Music Room for the reception which may hold up 20 250-300 guests. The venue itself is beautiful. If you are looking for a romantic spanish style location, this is very nice. The staff is great and everything came out as requested. Food was hot when served. All of our guests were pleased as were my husband and I. Wish I could do it again.

This place is amazing, I would have loved to get married here - except it did not fit our budget and it's either you get what they offer or you look somewhere else. I wanted a spanish theme and they fit perfect since they even have a chapel/ churhc there. Still it was a bit pricey for a dinner reception and does not hold 200ppl.

The Historic Mission Inn was such a beautiful setting for our wedding! Every corner of the hotel makes you feel as though you are in another country! It is gorgeous!!! The wedding coordinators were easy to work with and friendly. The hotel was also very accomodating to our guests who stayed overnight.

The Mission Inn was a beautiful place to get married at. The Capel was sooo beautiful, and the pictures came out great. The reception was so wonderful, the food was awsome, and the service was outstanding. The only thing that was difficult was scheduling a date. If you want a specific room for the reception and date, make sure you book it at least a year in advance, or you might not get you date or reception room you were hoping for. But once that is out of the way, everything went soomthly.

Pictures really don't do the Mission Inn justice. We loved this place from the very first time we toured it. I wanted something of a spanish feel, my wife wanted to feel like a princess in a castle. We both got what we wanted for our wedding. The chapel is amazing. They have plenty of options for receptions depending on the size of your wedding and your budget. We were in the Galleria with about 75 people. The whole night was great, very helpful staff, great service, great food. Can't wait to go back for our anniversary.

Everything went really smoothly until the last day. Our wedding coordinator did not approve our final contract. Her assistant did. As a result, the coordinator is claiming we owe more money. St. Francis is beautiful - it was the perfect place for our jaunt down the isle and the golden backdrop with it's ornate carvings and general ambiance is also breathtaking.

This place is stunning!!! The rooms, restaurants, and gathering places are the most amazing Ive seen! I am an interor designer and this place blew me away! When my husband and I first found it online, we were shocked that this place was even located in California, let alone Riverside. So we went down on a Monday afternoon and didnt make an appointment. When we got there the place was packed full of appointments, but they squeezed us in to see a tour of the place. It was breathtaking. I knew right from when they showed us the church that this was the place I was going to say my vows in. I started to cry and just couldnt be happier with how this place fit my prospective of how I wanted our wedding. The atmosphere reminded us so much of Spain. Another reason why we got married there was cause my husband lived in Spain for 6 months and it took him back there too! The wedding Vendors were a little tricky to work with though. I would recommened either going with another Planner from somewhere else first unless its a last resort. When you book with the Mission Inn, you get a Planner to help you for a little bit. None of the big stuff. We paid an extra fee for the Mission Inn to give us an upgrade for a planner to be with you through everything, with vendor meetings and helping you chose vendors. If you bring any outside vendors that arent on their list, you pay an additional $250 per vendor. Its ridiculous but non of the vendors worked for us so we got ALL outside vendors. But it was worth it. I loved the Mission Inn and the organization of it on the day of your wedding was flawless. I didnt worry about a thing, and I couldnt of been happier with our day!

I got married here, and it has a lot of meaning to me. I used to go here for Festival of Lights with both my grandma's when they were alive. When I visited it again, I knew it was where I wanted to get married. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking! We booked with them a year ahead of our wedding. Some of the coordinators there are very unprofessional. I had a problem with Sharon when we visited to show my MIL. Every question I asked her, she gave the wrong answer to. The coordinator that I was assigned to was super helpful, and found out she left... and I was assigned to Sharon. I immediately refused to work with her, and was given to Brittany. I cannot express how much better it was to work with Brittany. She is so nice and sweet! She did everything to help me make my wedding everything I wanted. The day of the wedding, I worked with 2 different wedding coordinators. These two girls were super nice and made the day flow nicely. In the end, my wedding came out beautiful; but it wasn't an easy road to get there. Up until the final months everything went smoothly. But when it came down to getting the table chart so that I could give it to the linens/chair rental, we literally didn't finalize it until days before the wedding. It was very stressful working with the wedding coordinator we were provided with. And to make things worse, the night before my rehearsal dinner which was to be held at Las Campanas, a restaurant within the Mission Inn, we receive a phone call from the coordinator saying there had been a mistake and if we could have my rehearsal dinner at another location. We had reserved this dinner through her 6 months prior to this. I had my mother-in-law make a few phone calls and we ended up having it there. Everything went smoothly the day of the wedding, and everything turned out beautiful, but I think they need more organized staff.

The first catering manager I had was not very helpful and gave us wrong information several times which ended up costing us a lot of money. (long story) Then a new catering manager took over which was better than the previous one but She was not flexible at all and took forever to return our calls and answer our questions. The Mission Inn is the most beautiful place I've seen in southern California. I would just advise that anyone planning to book the Mission as the venue for their wedding, bring their own planner. The coordinators there are useless. They also have a problem with keeping coordinators. I booked my event in January and my wedding was in July and I was assigned 5 different coordinators with in that time frame. None of them were capable of picking up where the other left off. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose the Mission Inn and hire an outside wedding coordinator.

the quality of hospitality of their managerial customer service Is Such a disappointment! It is sad to recall our unfortunate experience especially considering the reputation it holds. outside of the wedding and reception itself (which was AMAZING), the hotel service was insulting. to hit some points: housekeeping came in several times without knocking, my husband's grooms gift was missing from the grooms room- later found in lost and found 48 hours later (luckily my husband had worn his watch to the ceremony)- due to this our wedding night and day after was consumed with filling reports with security, our room itself was 2 hours late, table overlays for the reception were never placed even though florist confirmed they were delivered, unauthorized charges (about $5,000) on credit card, more than half of our wedding cake was left and was not offered to be boxed, and to top everything off PILLS were found in our guests popcorn from their candy bar!We have addressed some concerns and have yet to hear anything regards to how they may want to make up for these big, uncalled for actions! I can not believe they are taking all of these issues so lightly! Just considering the entering into rooms without knocking- I could've been completely naked!And, Most especially the liability held with the pills found within the zebra popcorn! Ingrid was the front desk manager, and in my opinion needs additional training on how to treat and work with their guests.
