I bought my wedding dress here, on my second visit. They gave me an option of buying off the rack, or, for a little bit more, ordering a new dress in my size. I decided to order the new dress, and the price was still less than many other dress stores I have been to. I ended up going with the alterations professional, Sirley, that they recommended, and she did an absolutely beautiful job on the dress. The dress I purchased was an Allure gown, all lace, with intricate appliques, so the alterations were pretty difficult. But, you would never tell from the gown, it was perfect! You will not have a boutique experience here, there are no complementary champagne fittings, or camera crews documenting your experience. However, the staff is helpful and responsive, and it is a low pressure shopping experience, which was very important for me. I would recommend this salon to any other bride looking for a nice dress at a reasonable price!

My first and last time shopping for a wedding dress was at the Image. They had the perfect dress for me and I was able to find it in less than an hour and a half.

They have regular business hours during the week but those are filled by appointments and are open on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY to those who have made appointments. I called on a Tuesday and was able to make an appointment for that Saturday afternoon. My appointment was at 2pm and I was a little worried when I got there to see all the lights turned off and the door locked. I thought they had forgotten about me! Just a couple minutes before the hour a young girl showed up to open up. She was young (early-mid 20's) blonde and very sweet. After walking into the shop she asked me when my wedding was, what image I had in mind and if I had looked anywhere to try on dresses before. I gave her all that information and she was quickly on her way looking for dresses for me to try on. She also told me that I was more than welcome to look through their inventory and pick out anything I'd like to try. I tried on about 7 dresses. All had matched the exact description of dress I had told her. Half way through she asked me if I had come up with anything else to try on and I suggested satin and she was quick to bring one in of that material. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but she was very patient. She wasn't that annoying sales person on the sideline who tries to tell you what you think you want. She stood quietly on the side and would point out things on the dress I didn't notice. I was able to narrow it down to 2 dresses and I switched off trying them on two times. Again, this did not bother her at all! She was so sweet about it and let me try on different veils to get a good feel for the dress. I should forewarn, the shop is small! They have plenty of dresses, just that the space is small. They only have two podiums for girls to stand and see their dress, so only take 2 people if you can.

To view and try on dresses. You had to schedule an appointment to be seen. I told the salesperson what my budget was and if she couldn't match it by selling the sample dress size she would telling me honestly that it was out my price range. Which I'm glad because I didn't want to fall in love with dresses that I couldn't afford. The dresses that I tried or knew the price ranges of ranged from $100-1500.

She let me pull dresses from the rack and also grabbed dresses that she thought might fit my style. I fell in love with a dress that was a little out of my range but she offered to sell me the sample for a lower cost. Lucky for me, they had barely gotten the dress in a couple of days before and I was the first person to try it on.

They had 2 seamstresses to choose from and they were honest about both of their work approaches. I spent about $400 or so for alterations, cups, and a petticoat. This is something that brides tend to forget about in their budget. The price was reasonable, I had been quoted almost $500 from another person.
