Describe your DJ style:
I'm laid back not over the top but not overly reserved. My clients tell me that I'm very professional but fun.
What is your usual attire?
Tux or if its more laid back then slacks and a dress shirt and shoes.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Nope I will go out of my way to get the music for there event.
How many other DJs do you work with?
One just me, you hire me and you get me.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
I charge per event not by the hour. Unless your event goes over the agreed upon time then I charge in one hour increments.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Of course I love meeting our brides and grooms.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Nothing but the best
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
I require nothing from the venues but the area for setup. I usually like to get to and event 3 hours early. I don't need that much time but given what a special event it is. I want to be there knowing everything is perfect.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Minimum space would be 5 foot by 9 foot. If I use lights then 4 foot by 12 foot to have a nice looking setting.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
I usually Emcee the reception but I only talk during songs when appropriate.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I don't require a meal break. But it is always nice if our clients wish to feed us but it's not required.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Thats what I do.
What is your overtime rate?
125 dollars per hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Its added into the cost when I book your event. The price I quote takes into account the distance and all things I might need.
