It has been awhile since someone has left a reveiw. I wonder why? This is not a venue I would recommend at all!!!! For the amount of money I just spent on my Sons wedding it was not worth it! From "ok" food to over flowing toliets (which 3 hours before the wedding we paid to have his septic pumped), to filthy rooms and carpet, to no condiments or salt & pepper, unprepared staff (who ended up being awesome with my instruction) to a "MIA" owner/coordinator, Bart..... The staff all lives there with Bart, which is weird because they get kicked out of their rooms for a day so they can be used as Bride/Groom suites. I could go on & on. If you want to use this venue, do not expect it to go well, or with no stress. 3 weeks before our event they changed our florist & coordinator, so NO ONE was on the same page!!!! Thank God it ended up perfect for my Son, but only because my friends and family stepped in to pull it off!!!!

My husband Josh and I got married at the Tracy Castle in January and loved every moment of it. The Castle is a beautiful setting that feels secluded from the rest of the world on your wedding day. What we loved the most is that it was all-inclusive. They were flexible about allowing us to bring in our own photographer who was a friend of mine. I got to meet all the vendors in one day called their "Friends of the Castle Meeting." I got most of my wedding planning done at this time. The Chef was wonderful and very professional, the florist had great ideas to go along with what I was envisioning for my ceremony and reception. The pastry chef had so many options for my cake. There were so many options and everyone was very nice and flexible. The prices are very competitive here and after doing the numbers myself, I found out that I saved a lot by using the Castle services. If you go out there for a private tour, they will put together a customized quote for exactly what you are looking to do. Most other places I toured didn't take the time to sit down and crunch numbers for me. It was always ballpark figures from everywhere else I visited.

On the wedding day we arrived at the castle that morning. My family and I checked into our suites. The staff was already busy setting everything up just the way I wanted it. It was very relaxing. Our point of contact from the beginning to the end was Jake. He was amazing from start to finish. He is very prompt in response time and offered great wedding ideas and cost saving tips. He manages the vendors there and all of them were so wonderful. I just want to give a special thanks to Julie, who was our chef and floor manager for the day. You made our night so special.

The Tracy Castle has nearly perfected what it takes to have a stress-free wedding planning and wedding day experience. I was the maid of honor at my sisters wedding and had to do most of the planning and wedding day details myself. I never wanted to do that again. Finding the Castle was like a dream come true for me. If you are looking to enjoy your engagement and not have to stress-out or make a family member or wedding coordinator do all the work, then I highly recommend the Tracy Castle. They have been rated the number one wedding venue in Puget Sound for a reason.

Okay, I am a princess and have always had in mind what I have wanted since I was a little girl. When I finally got engaged I wanted the perfect place with no restrictions on my dream wedding. With that said, after my long search I finally found the Tracy Castle. I actually didn't find it online but a co-worker said that she attended a wedding here and that it was the best wedding she has every been to. I went and toured this place and that is when I met Jake. Chris and Jake hit it off at the beginning, and I fell in love with the venue when I pulled through the castle gates.

After meeting with Jake and saving my date I only had several other meetings to schedule. Jake was our point of contact from the start. I was impressed with his customer service. He even texted me sometimes just to see how my day was. My extravagant princess wedding was on a tight budget. Jake was very flexible and offered some great cost saving tips. He says he is my account manager, but he is much more than that, especially after having my wedding run so smoothly on the day of.

My bridesmaids and I checked into our Bridal Suite around 11am and the chef had a fruit tray, chocolate covered strawberries and mimosas waiting for us. I must point out that the setup and cleanup is included. None of my family had to coordinate with vendors, setup tables and chairs or cleanup at the end of the night. All that was taken care of which allowed me and my family to enjoy the entire day.

I used the Castle's Horse drawn carriage to make my grand entrance into the Ceremony. It was cold, but I got to walk down a 100 foot red carpet into the beautiful two story ceremony room. Princess or not, I highly recommend using the horse drawn carriage. (even in December, lol...!)

We used the officiant the castle provided. Art was so personable and we were able to have a private consultation with him to design our vows.

The Ceremony went perfect. The DJ was wonderful and professional. Thank you Julie for all your hard work, the food was excellent. Oh yeah, I also wanted to mention that I got to bring in my own alcohol. It was only a $1.75 per guest to run the bar for the whole night! We brought the booze and they provided the bartender and glassware. If you have been a part of wedding planning before, Bars and alcohol can get pretty expensive. This is cheap!!! There wasn't any corkage fee either or any other rediculous fees for that matter.

They arranged transportation through a limo service for us, and we left that night feeling like we had the time of our lives. Our guests still talk about how amazing the castle was! Especially how the great the staff was. Thanks again Jake to you and your staff for the best wedding day and night. I highly recommend the venue, staff and all their services.

The castle was great when I went for my tour of the property and when I made my down payment. From there I should of seen the warning signs as it went down hill from there.

At my "friends of the castle" meeting all the vendors work very hard to hide prices from you. They also try to get you to buy more then you need. Then after meeting with the vendors you go and sit down with Bart and go over all the details. That's where even more money is tacked on for little things. In the middle of winter they wanted me to pay for a carriage ride. Anyone that knows washingotn in the winter means rain. Why would i go outside in the rain in the evening.

From the moment we made out first payment it got even harder to get ahold of the people there. It would take multiple calls and emails to get then to respond back. And then after we made our final payment we never heard back from them til the day before the wedding to confirm we were still coming.

The morning of the wedding when we arrived they were not even ready for us. Nothing had been set up and no one was there to set up yet. The photographer as very professional but was late because Bart never told him what time to show up when we had agreed on a picture time frame.

After the ceremony, it went down hill more. The food was fine but there were things that we had said we didn't want to do for the reception because of the people we had invited and they didn't listen and made us do it anyways. Then after the guests had left when we were packing up to leave they were in a hurry to push us out the door. It was not even late and we had not even used the castle for the whole time frame we paid for.

After the wedding the photographer got me my photos in a timely manner except for the wedding album I have paid for. Its now 5months after my wedding and I am still fighting with the castle to get them to pay the photographer so that i can have my wedding album.

I do not recommend this venue at all. I have heard nothing but horror stories from other friends of mine that have gotten married there. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The Dark Ages of the Castle are back! Old videos and DVD's handed out suggest that this place was once a nice place to get married. However now that Josh, the old coordinator/customer service is gone, the only thing left is the Venue. The Venue is pretty, but there is a ton of baggage that comes along with it. Unfortunately I know from personal experience. I only wish my wife or I had read the reviews before making our first visit. One positive thing is they are no longer false advertising with their old website, but they still claim to be an all-inclusive venue. You can ask about the prices of things such as: Flowers, Cake, Food and even give them your budget; they will tell you $2000 or $2500 for the Venue, give you information on the cost of their food, and explain you can negotiate and pick out what works with their vendors at the "Friends of the Castle" meeting. That's where they spring all sorts of hidden fees, when you are already committed with a deposit and expected to pay half of the total wedding the day of the meeting. You either continue at that point or walk away. I'm suggesting to everyone to walk away.

I don't know what happened in the past, but I know now since I just got married that they don't delivery on all these services that they promise and charge you for.

We had a horrible experience at this venue...if you also had the same experience please email us at scarey22@comcast.net
If you are thinking about having your wedding here I would find another venue. You will have nothing but troubles and stress. There are constant staff changes, contract changes etc. Bart Tracy does not care about you or your wedding all he wants is you money. You will have to keep on top of every detail of your wedding in order to make it somewhat successful. We had things stolen at our wedding, we didn't have the amount of food ordered, short staffed, our day of coordinator promised he would be there and he wasn't , the staff was unprofessionally dressed etc. If you think you are going to get the wedding from the pics, think again. There is no white glove service, the staff is not trained, don't use valet unless you want your car damaged and driven by a teen, don't let the staff handle your gifts, you may not get them all! Be aware you are not getting what you think you signed up for!!
Do not be so quick to give out your money! Hold out til the end and make sure they come thru on all of their promises!!!
GOOD LUCK!!

BEWARE! I have one child which means one wedding. Even though the wedding was years ago, it continues to break my heart every time I think of that day. As the mother of the bride I was placed in the last seat of the first row allowing me to see the back of my daughter. It was so bad that every person I knew on the bride's side sent word up to me that if I wanted to walk out they would too. It's pretty bad when the maid-of-honor seeks you out after the ceremony to apologize for the treatment you received.

Food was horrible, guests who were vegetarians were not allowed to have macaroni and cheese because "it was for the kids" needless to say, the few chidren there only ate about 1/8 of it.

I brought special wine (minimum of 3 cases) for our special friends, the leftover was to be sent with my daughter - it was not. Instead she was given the boxed wine.

Collectively, I believe that we have stopped at least 75 weddings at this horrid place by sharing the wedding story of my child. Oh and by the way, I did call, many of my friends called and there only comment it was her day!
