Tricia was great - definitely money well spent for our wedding. And she's a lovely person.

Going into my wedding planning, I can honestly say I had very little idea of what I wanted or what the vision was for the event, other than I wanted it to be a ton of fun and I wanted to look good. Tricia helped me along with way with figuring out what would make sense and how to take all my random little ideas and put them into one cohesive event. The flower, hair, and make-up vendors she recommended were all great! Any times throughout the process I started feeling like I was lost and didn't know what I needed to be doing, she kept me calm and on track.

Of course, in addition to the planning, there is the day of, and I couldn't have asked for more here. Tricia did all of the organizing and timelines with my vendors in advance and made sure that everyone (including me!) was where they needed to be at all times. The whole day went by without a single issue - or at least without any issues that I knew about, which is really what matters! And she even had all the small things taken care of - when my maid of honor finished her speech and realized she had forgotten her drink to toast with, it magically appeared in her hand; when my dad was spotted waiting in line at the bar, a beer was produced in a split second; when I started to burn during our photos she not only produced sunscreen, but put it on my back for me!

There were moments during the planning that I wondered to myself if it was really worth the money to have a planner, but in the end I know it was.

Tricia is absolutely the best planner/coordinator you could work with. My husband and I knew within the first five minutes of meeting her that she would make our wedding day extra special. Even though we hired her as a day-of coordinator, Tricia is very hands-on and supportive every step of the way, periodically checking in via email and scheduling meetings to go over even the tiniest details of the day. Tricia’s services are very well-priced and included unlimited calls/emails with fast, almost immediate, responses. We were so lucky to have found someone like her and not have broken the bank!

Tricia understands that not even can afford a million dollar wedding, so she has a number of amazing vendor referrals she has worked with. Everything at our wedding looked absolutely stunning, and we didn't feel like we overpaid on a thing. She even was so gracious to give us pointers on how to cut corners without losing the aesthetic we were going for. On the day of, the entire ceremony and reception went brilliantly and flawlessly. We were told by numerous married friends that something always goes wrong the day of and to not stress about it, but honestly everything was perfect and we know it’s because of Tricia and her entire team.

Being natural planners (I handle logistics for productions, burning man camps, parties, etc), my wife and I opted to hire Tricia as a day-of coordinator for our 160 person wedding at the Newhall Mansion. But she delivered far beyond what was advertised in our initial meeting. She is detail oriented, experienced and incredibly sharp. Being the micromanager that I am, we hand picked an amazing list of vendors, negotiated our own contracts and determined the specifics on our own; however, Tricia was always available in the months and weeks leading up to the event, checking in proactively, pinging us about deadlines, and offering valuable advice anytime we needed it. She was there in person for our concept meeting, venue walkthrough, rehearsal, and wedding. By the time the wedding rolled around, the keys were in her hand, and we were not worried one bit.

For the wedding she brought a team of three to assist - so it literally seemed like she was everywhere, all the time. All four of them were so kind and one step ahead of us all day long. Her familiarity with the venue and the other vendors paid off continually, and despite our best efforts to think of everything, there were inevitably things that fell through the cracks, but Tricia was there to pick up the slack - offering creative and artistic solutions that impressed our guests.

As it turned out, the list of vendors we picked were all ones that Tricia would have suggested if we had opted for her full coordinating service from the beginning. Tricia & her team are an absolute must have for any event!

She made our wedding the most seamless & joyous day. We couldn't have done it without her. Her assistant Molly, was fantastic during our rehearsal the day before. We had this idea about dancing down he aisle & had not really planned it out at all but she took one look & organized it immediately. Tricia Dahlgren is absolutely incredible at what she does. From day 1 she was there for us in every aspect. She is extremely organized and always responds quickly to emails. She really took the time to understand what we wanted our wedding to be like, and with that information she made really great suggestions. She and her team helped everything on the day of run smoothly, and she also planned our rehearsal dinner. Both events went perfectly! Because of Tricia my wedding experience was not stressful at all, to me that is invaluable. People really don't understand how much work it takes to plan a wedding, even on the day of there is so much to do and Tricia and her team did everything. At the end of the night they helped my mom pack her car with flowers and decor items, they made sure everything went where it needed to go. If you are at all considering hiring a wedding planner, hire Tricia! You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I got married in April in Santa Barbara and hired Tricia as our day-of wedding coordinator based on a recommendation from our photographer who had worked alongside her on a few occasions. This was likely the best and most important vendor choice we made! Tricia and her team were amazing, professional and efficient from start to end of our big day, and we were so thankful to have them. Tricia is super organized, and her calm demeanor maintained the good vibes throughout the event. We knew we didn’t have to worry about anything since Tricia had it under control, which allowed us to truly enjoy the awesomest day of our lives!

Our wedding venue was a rather large estate, and Tricia and her team worked seamlessly to move folks to where they needed to be. Tricia’s team also set up all of our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception décor perfectly with limited direction (and I’m pretty picky about that sort of thing).

Tricia was the first thing we planned after booking our venue. Booking Tricia was the best decision we could have made. Throughout the entire process I had Tricia to answer any questions I had. Questions I didn't know I had she answered for me. So many details would have gone unplanned or thought about if it wasn't for her.
Our rehearsal dinner, and wedding day ran absolutely perfectly because of Tricia and her team. Anytime I needed Tricia she was right there to answer any questions or concerns I had. If she wasn't there, her team member was with headset that went straight to Tricia. If anyone had a question for me, all I had to do was direct them to Tricia (You don't have time to answers questions on your wedding day! lol) If my bridesmaids weren't paying attention and my dress started to drag there was Tricia and her team to pick up the train. We somehow ran out of cups at the bar. Guess who had that covered?? Yep!! Tricia. If I needed my lipstick her team was right there with my lipstick on deck! If I needed a drink or something to eat...There they were.
Every little detail was thought out by her. I can't say enough how much I LOVE HER!!! You will not regret hiring her!

For our wedding reception, we worked with Krista Dison and had a smooth and successful event. Weeks later, we still hear that it was the best wedding that anyone has every been to!! We eloped in August 2014, but we had a reception 6-months later at Los Verdes Golf Club for family and friends. The company came at the recommendation of our venue. My husband and I eloped because we didn't want the hassle of a big wedding, and I've always been skeptical of coordinators and anything related to the wedding industry. But hiring Krista was a God send. We only brought her on about 2 weeks before our reception but she was engaged the entire time leading up to the reception. She was available via phone, email, and worked until the 11th hour with myself and the DJ regarding the program run-down leading up to the event.

Thank goodness she was there. She will be your best friend, the-day-of. She keeps you on schedule and on track. You're so busy on your special day, and you absolutely can't handle it all on the day-of. I was so glad she helped get me through hair/make up, and as a "Chinese" bride, I had to change 3 - 4 times, and she whisked me away for each change, and kept me abreast of the open bar tabs. It was nice to have a friendly face.

Tricia was invaluable in helping me and my fiancee plan our 350-person Chinese banquet wedding.
