Was very disappointed in the professional business conduct of this catering service. The food was very good, but everything else was not what I was lead to believe when first signing the contract. The owner/manager was extremely disorganized and flighty, had no business sense whatsoever. The servers were late to set up the night before the wedding and we had to have someone contact the owner while we were doing our vows because no one had shown up on the day of the wedding. My family had to help set up and clean up. When the owner was notified off the disappointing service, her reply was "oh well, at least the food was good."

Was very disappointed in the professional business conduct of this catering service. The food was very good, but everything else was not what I was lead to believe when first signing the contract. The owner/manager was extremely disorganized and flighty, had no business sense whatsoever. I'll start with the positives. Our food was ready on time with a good presentation. We got many compliments on the cheesy potatoes and no complaints about the baked beans, fruit salad, punch, or sandwich platter we ordered.

On the negative side, we had three appointments with Deb that SHE scheduled that she missed and we had to call and wake her up at 11AM each time. We had to give her all our information including the date every time we met with her as she has no organization and had non working computers and had lost our paper file (not surprised after seeing her office).

Deb had an appointment to set up the night before the wedding and no-showed. We called her the morning of and she said she "got busy" and would be out to set up no later than noon, but we were notified by the Frauenthal at 1pm that she still had not arrived.

The food ended up being served on time, but we requested pasta with no olives and it had olives. Our cake, which Tudor cut, was butchered. Also, while going to the bathroom at the reception I saw the Tudor staff in the kitchen (3 of them) chowing down on our food and cake.

Lastly, when we picked up our leftovers, we found them wrapped up in garbage bags and her kitchen was extremely unsanitary. We had also purchased 500 plates at Sam's Club on our own and had 115 people at our reception, but somehow when Tudor packed up our leftovers the remaining 385 plates disappeared and, when we contacted Deb, she was never able to "find" them.

The main reason we spent the money on a caterer was so we did not have to worry about the food while we were getting married. Of all the different aspects of our wedding, we spent more time worrying about the caterer than everything else combined as we never knew if she would remember us or no-show. As a result, instead of enjoying our wedding day we ended up spending the day trying to hunt Deb down and make emergency backup plans if she no showed. Would not go back to Tudor.

Deb Greenlee did the catering for our wedding. We attended a tasting at Whitlows and received discounts on food, wedding invitations and free wedding catalog items. Deb was great at helping figure out timelines from ceremony to end of reception. She is very helpful and easy going.
At the reception (Frauenthal/Hilt Bldg), the food presentation was beautiful, and the food was delicious, from the hor'deuvres to the late night snack. The wait staff were friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again! We received many compliments on the food that evening.
I agree with other comments, Deb's office looks unorganized and she doesn't answer the phone with her business name, but she has years of experience and it shows where it counts!

I worked with Tudor catering and tolerated some of their inorganization due to Whitlow's being the perfect location for our reception. The prices on their webpage are not updated or complete, so be prepared to pay more than the website indicates.

The Tudor manager at times was very helpful and other times very unorganized. When I first visited Whitlows and Tudor, I noticed the entrance and bathrooms were dirty. They assured me they would be clean for our reception. When my family got to the hall to decorate in the morning, they ended up going to Walmart and buying cleaning supplies to clean the bathrooms and foyer. When Tudor was setting up the buffet table, they used stained/dirty table clothes and dirty mirror's to place food baskets on. My family told them they had to change them and the staff got very mad.

I had to just about beg them to serve the food at 6:00 and told them that verbally and in writing, but the food was not ready until 6:15. When I told the staff that I changed the time twice with the manager, they pretty much just told me they had a contract for 6:15, so that is when it was going to be. I know 15 minutes does not sound like much, but the wedding was at 3:00 and many people were from out of town and very hungry.

Tudor told us they had someone to cut our cake. We had a beautiful, very expensive cake from the best bakery in town. It was supposed to serve 200 people. The Tudor staff BUTCHERED the cake. They did not follow cutting instructions and actually pieces of cake were flying as they cut it. If 125 people got cake I would be surprised. My sister was there and tried to take over and the lady just kept chopping....The table was a complete mess after they were done and the cake demolished. DO NOT LET THEM CUT YOUR CAKE!!!!

I cannot take away the fact that the actual food was very delicious, classy and the menu selection is large.

Deb Greenlee did a great job for us. The food was delicious (my guests loved it), the staff looked professional and were discreet. Everything was set up beautifully. I think the drawback in using Tudor Events is that perhaps Deb overextends herself. For instance, she forgot one of our appointments to go over the menu. To her credit, she did get to her office quickly to meet with us and apologized for the wait. I think she may need a full time assistant manager because her office does seem rather disorganized, which made me nervous to use her at first.

However, she did respond to all my emails promptly, and like I said she did a WONDERFUL job that day. The linens and chair covers looked great, and the food is amazing. We had originally ordered the "nice plastic ware" to save costs, but Deb threw in the china for us and that was very generous.

Overall, wonderful job! I would use her agency again, but I would tell other brides to not be afraid to ask Deb if there are already many bookings around their dates, so that a bride does not worry about the mishaps that could take place (which would be good to ask ANY caterer!).

The food was great. They were there on time. Reasonably priced. I have nothing to complain about, however, I have nothing to gush about either. Every time, I dealt with the owner(?) she seemed like she had no idea who I was, I always had to remind her when my wedding was, she never called to check on me. Every time I called the phone would get answered "Hello", no "hello Tudor's" or anything. The owner uses her personal cell phone for business so when somebody for the business calls you don't even know that you have reached them, you think you misdialed and got a residence number.

She was late to two appointment and almost completely missed one appt because she got her days mixed up (I think she showed up on time to 1 appt but that was because she was there already for something else). When she did show she had her dog with her in the office (not cooped up, roaming around sniffing and licking me). When she did finally show, no apologies.

The day of, service was late. Dinner was to be at 6:00 but it was more like 7:00. They were to do the cake cutting but apparently that wasn't stated in their contract (even though my contact says that they always cut the cake, it's part of the catering duties). They didn't leave the left overs or the bags for the linens that they were supposed to and they took the remainder of my nice disposable plates that I purchased.

I did contact Tudor's after the event to try and rectify what could be such as my plates etc.. and to just get an explaination of how all of this could have happened (what happened is I got married on 06-07-08, a very popular day, and they overbooked and extended themselves and probably got overwhelmed and therefore were scatterbrained and royaly screwed up)!! I was told they would contact who did the event that day and to call them back tomorrow. I did but they couldn't reach the girl that did the event and I was told that I would get a call back the next day and that if I didn't to call back. I called back two days later and got voicemail (funny...I have never gotten voicemail before) I left a message and have not heard back.

I guess once they get your money, you don't matter anymore!
