1) We specialize in wedding receptions and company parties! Not high school dances, raves, or bar gigs. A wedding reception or company party requires much more than an ordinary DJ who does bar gigs.

2) Our disc jockeys average over ten years experience performing wedding receptions and company parties. We're not going to send out a disc jockey trainee to learn "on the job" at your event.

3) We'll give you the best Frequently Asked Questions to ask a DJ from an insider's point of view. We'll also show you the reasons behind these questions and answer these FAQs ourselves.

4) The second most important ingredient to a successful event after a DJ's experience is the music he plays. An experienced DJ with a large music library will make all the difference in the world if you don't want your reception to be just another one out of 1000 weddings that some other DJ Agencies will do next year.

5) The majority of other disc jockey websites show only "teaser" pricing, a "range" of prices, or won't publish any prices at all. But we'll show you our prices and we'll show you why you shouldn't accept any less from other DJs! Read less

Do you have liability insurance?
Describe your DJ style:
Our style is completely dictated by the bridal couple or the business that is hiring our services. Low key or high energy upon demand. But our DJs are always dressed formally and our experience helps even the most stressed brides relax and enjoy themselves knowing we are keeping everyone happy and dancing.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
We ask the couple choose 10-15 songs to leave room for their guests requests.
What is your usual attire?
Formal attire: dress shoes, pants, shirt and tie.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No, but we'll need at least 30 days notice to get it if it's one of their 10-15 songs. If they'd like to bring music that's fine too.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We are an association of experienced Twin Cities DJs with over 10+ yrs performing at weddings and company parties.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Minimum time is 4hrs for a day event, 6hrs for an evening event. Our packages include up to these times by default.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, many brides find it even easier to speak on the phone while navigating our website together.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Yes, that's helpful.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, all of it is owned and maintained by us.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
The only extras are time beyond 6hrs, smoke/fog or bubble machines, or karaoke.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Usually only 1 hr beforehand.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No, just a 4' x 6' space with at least 2 electrical outlets if indoors. If outdoors, a cover must be provided if it rains.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
No. We have two business card holders. One at the DJ booth and one at the bar.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We will make whatever announcements are needed.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Music selection and experience are the most important things a DJ needs and what brides should look for. We have many things that we do to ensure no empty dance floors.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Breaks are occasional bathroom trips but the music keeps playing. A meal is not required, but if it offered, we will gratefully accept the hospitality.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Yes and that's a no brainer as far as we're concerned.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We back each other up with our equipment and ourselves at every event we perform.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
Never. That's called subcontracting and we discuss how to avoid that on our website.
What is your overtime rate?
$50.00 per half hour if available.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
$0.50/mi outside of the Twin Cities metro area.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
Only $150. Brides should never have to pay more than about 20% of their total.

If there are any couples out there looking for a wonderful DJ expierience for their wedding day...these are the guys to use. They love weddings and they make the best enviroment for your reception. We had so much fun. Days later, I was told my family and friends, \"that was THE best wedding party we have had in years!\"
Services Used: DJ
We had an out of the ordinary wedding. A costumed Halloween reception! We knew from the beginning that we needed a DJ company that was used to doing weddings but could really think outside the box. Our DJ was so helpful, he came early, even dressed in costume with us, and I never saw the dance floor empty. Every time it seemed like the song that was playing couldn\'t get any better, he\'d find another one that everyone loved even more. I got a ton of compliments about everything we did and I got a lot of \"your DJ was awesome, we stayed a lot longer than we planned to because of him.\" The best part? They were not the most expensive company we looked at, they were priced just right!
