I can't say enough terrible things about Watson's. They are on Evergreen's approved list and are the best value on that list but trust me when I say you will not get even what you pay for here. Tracey, the owner, was no where to be found my wedding day save for 2 appearances. The first was to be rude to my mother by walking away from her without saying a word after my (extremely reasonable and assuming) mother asked her a question. The second time was to show up to the reception absolutely hammered (yes, visibly intoxicated) at about 11 p.m. and pretend to fawn over how nice the wedding was. This might be ok if not for the fact that they only brought half the amount of knives we needed for our guests! That's right: They RAN OUT OF KNIVES halfway through the dinner and proceeded to tell guests they didn't need knives to eat the food we were serving (beef brisket, grilled vegetables and other things you most definitely do need knives for). The only highlight was the actual staff themselves: I felt they did their best to deal with a terrible boss and provided us friendly and accommodating service the whole night. The bartenders were also really good and efficient.
Huge problem number 2: Watson's tacked on upwards of $500 in "hidden" charges to our bill on the day of the wedding leaving us no choice but to pay them so they'd continue serving us. Even though it was stipulated they would provide all of these things in our contract, which we signed, Watson's later on tacked on charges for linens, an oven (???), tables we didn't ask them to rent, and a host of other things. Tracey was rude and unresponsive as soon as we sent in our initial deposit. The food was decent -- meat was a bit fatty but I guess that's what you get for $60 a head. Also, Tracey completely ignored my wishes and put a bunch of random colored and non matching table cloths on the tables for our cocktail hour. All linens were supposed to be white (our colors were white and black) and suddenly I look up and see teal and lime green table cloths on my tables and the fabrics are even different textures! No big deal -- it's my wedding day, I'm happy to let it go even though it's obvious she picked these up off the floor somewhere the day of the event and just threw them on there. I am not a bridezilla my any means -- my wedding was a laid back affair largely organized by me. But Watson's is a TERRIBLE company and Tracey Watson is a terribile businesswoman and, as far as I can tell, not a nice person. She's extremely unprofessional, will cause you undue stress leading up to and on the day of your wedding and will cheat you out of money. I know the other caterers on Evergreen's list are quite pricey but I would seriously consider just biting the bullet and hiring them. You will regret you ever meant Tracey Watson. Let me add again, for effect: She showed up to my wedding falling down drunk at 11 p.m. after being rude, unresponsive and unavailable for the entire day. Deplorable woman, abhorrent service.

As soon as we met Tracey Watson we knew that we had found the right caterer. They are very client-focused and very willing to please. The food was excellent and the service seamless. I would recommend Watson to anyone.

I called a million places trying to get a reasonable price for a hydrangea cake topper and not only was the one from Watson's extremely reasonable, it was large and gorgeous. Marge even put it in a dish with a sponge and water that made the hydrangeas look fresh and happy through a hot day in August...and then some. We also got lots of daisies that looked beautiful. I can't believe I could get a better deal anywhere else. It was wonderful:)

For Watson's Caterers I have mixed reviews. The food was awesome, everyone loved it. However, I had a really difficult time with getting them to respond to me, and I'm not high maintenance whatsoever. Because of this, there were some issues on the wedding day that could have easily been avoided with a few conversations. If you have a wedding planner, I would consider them because the food was good and the staff were nice. Otherwise, it is too stressful to deal with a caterer who doesn't have their act together.
