This is a five star review specifically for the flower department. After months of dreading and avoiding working with a florist for my wedding, I stumbled upon the idea of seeing if Wholefoods does weddings. They do and it was AMAZING! Sarah met with me a couple of months before our wedding and she was instantly inspired by my photos of some wildflower arrangements. We really connected and I told her just to run with my ideas and get whatever was fresh and local. She ended up doing a custom order from a local farm and everything was just perfect! She and her team created my bouquet, four bridesmaid's bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages for our grandmothers and all of our centerpieces and as a bonus - no inflated cost like a regular florist! The Wholefoods team delivered everything to my venue the afternoon of (for a $10 delivery fee, score!) and took great care unpacking it all and made sure that everything was as it should be before leaving.

This was one of the more stressful areas of our wedding and working with Sarah at Wholefoods was a dream! I cannot recommend them enough!

We used Wholefoods for some flowers and catering. The food was delicious and centerpieces just what we wanted.

Whole foods is a secret cost saving alternative in wedding planning. I called around to a few local florists and Whole Foods came in at half of the cost of everyone else. In addition, the flowers were beautiful! With the cheap cost, I thought I might get some pretty ugly bouquets, but I was so pleasantly surprised.

I did not feel that their centerpieces were a very good deal, so I actually went to another grocery store to order those.

We used the Whole Foods on River Street for bouquets and centerpieces for our wedding. What a great decision! After having met with a florist who told us there was NO WAY we'd be able to get flowers for our budget, I went to Whole Foods, where I was told to just let them know what I wanted to spend and they'd make it happen. Jess, the floral director, was great to work with, laid back and willing to give us what we wanted. I gave her some pictures, told her what colors I wanted, and she made it happen. The flowers turned out beautifully and under budget! Because our venue was close by, delivery was free. Don't let florists tell you that you have to spend an arm and a leg on flowers because you really don't have to. I'm so happy I discovered that Whole Foods did weddings!

Using Whole Foods on River Street was probably one of the best decisions we made for our reception. We created the arrangements and bouquets ourselves, but were able to get so much for our money at Whole Foods. Also, delivery cost was minimal and service was friendly and helpful.

Because every florist we spoke to in the Boston area was a total jerk who felt the need to jack up the price by hundreds of dollars as soon as we said the word "wedding," and because flowers are one of the most ridiculously overpriced parts of the Wedding Industrial Complex, we decided to stick it to the Man by doing our own flowers, which we bought from the Whole Foods in Newton. This was an EXCELLENT idea. The florists at Whole Foods (John and Amy) are really friendly and professional. We did our own bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. they talked to me for quite awhile to figure out what we were looking for, figured out how many flowers we needed, and brought us exactly what we wanted. The flowers were really fresh - amazing quality. They gave us giant amounts of flower food and buckets, everything we needed to keep the flowers looking good. People, arranging flowers is not rocket science. We ended up with incredibly beautiful and unique martha-stewart-looking flowers for literally a fraction of what a mediocre florist would have cost, and without the attitude.

We actually used the Whole Foods in Newton and I could not be happier with their service. The florist manager (John Franchi) was amazing. I walked in knowing a little of what I was looking for and he took the time to walk me through each element until I was comfortable with the final decision. The service was amazing and then we got their quote and it was literally hundreds of dollars less than other florists! Everything came out beautifully and for a fraction of the cost of other florists! Highly recommend!

We decided on whole foods for the flowers---- they were wonderful, reponsive, returned calls, the bouquet and flowers were amazing. And, much much less than any florist in our area charged.
