The site is also home to the Knoxville Convention Center.
The Park consists of four major areas: the Festival Lawn, Lake Area, Amphitheatre and Performance Lawn. The Festival Lawn and Performance Lawn accommodate festivals and other outdoor performances and activities. The Amphitheatre has been restored to accommodate various types of special events and can hold up to 1,000 in attendance. All of the Park features and facilities combine to create an attractive destination for both residents and visitors.
