* Real Wedding - Anna + Seth

Posted on October 6th, 2008 by Margaret. Filed under Real Weddings.

I absolutely love seeing the beautiful weddings of Project Wedding members. Anna and Seth’s wedding is probably one of the most lovely weddings I have ever seen in my life. It was the perfect marriage of modern, rustic, and chic. For the full editorial spread, check out Anna and Seth’s wedding in our Real Weddings of the Week gallery. Also make sure to check out Anna’s inspirational planning bio.

* Welcome, Weddingbee

Posted on October 4th, 2008 by Srini. Filed under Announcements.

I’m sure you’ve heard the big news about Weddingbee, our favorite wedding blog of all time.

Joe, Margaret, and I congratulate Mrs. Bee and warmly welcome Weddingbee to the eHarmony Publishing family.  While we’ll remain separate, independent sites, it’s great to know that we’re teammates of an innovative, community-driven, and community-first site like Weddingbee.

The three of us met with Bee over lunch a few weeks ago and we came way a little tipsy and a lot impressed.  While we talked about our individual sites and the wedding industry, it was clear that Bee cares deeply for Weddingbee, the other bees, and the hive.   She sees working within eHarmony as the next step to growing Weddingbee, as we do with Project Wedding.

* Monique Lhuillier in our Real Wedding of the Week

Posted on October 3rd, 2008 by Margaret. Filed under Real Weddings, Wedding Dress.

This week, Project Wedding featured the Real Wedding of Ashley and Todd (photographed by the incredibly talented Jose Villa). Ashley was gorgeous in her Monique Lhuillier “Jessica” gown, with an architectural construction underneath delicate chantilly lace, and a scalloped edge on the train.

Monique Lhuillier is known for soft feminine designs that complement the female figure, from fresh and whimsical (first row) to sparkling and sophisticated (second row).

The dress is one of the most important (if not THE more important) element in planning a wedding. When it came to planning my wedding, I must have tried on hundreds of dresses… until I tried on Jessica by Monique Lhuillier! Ever since I have been in love with Monique’s designs. These gowns are definitely a splurge but worth every penny.

Here are some of my favorites sweetheart gowns by Monique Lhuillier.

* Wedding Invitations by Good On Paper Design II

Posted on October 1st, 2008 by Margaret. Filed under Wedding Invitations.

Here are some more gorgeous designs from Good on Paper. One of the things I love about Lisa’s work is how it really tells the story of the couple through her designs. Her design expresses the personality of the couple as well as the emotions of the wedding day. Here are some images from Lisa’s very own wedding that are a perfect example of who she is and the fabulous work that she does. These photos were taken by the very talented Lisa Lefkowitz.

I must admit, I have a huge crush on the invitations from Good on Paper! Lisa Wong is an incredibly talented designer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, and also one of the sweetest people in the invitation world.

I especially love the bird theme from Lisa’s portfolio from her newly revamped website, with tons of gorgeous pops of robin’s egg blue.
