Boudoir Pictures Inspiration

I am in the process of scheduling a boudoir session with my wedding photographer and the main question (aside from can I safely starve myself to lose some weight) is WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR??? I’ve realized that the word “sexy” means different things to so many people.

Sexy to your fiancé might be you in the jersey of his favorite sports team and nothing else, but sexy can also mean dressing like a French maid complete with feather duster – Ooh La La! But let’s be honest girls. Most of us have body issues – I know I do. We try to diet, hide those love handles and worry about our hair and makeup. I have come to the realization that sexy is all in how YOU present yourself to the photog for YOUR man. The best advice that I can give is to be COMFORTABLE in your own skin. If you shy away from the camera or try and hide some part of your body, it will only come off as uncomfortable and that is NOT sexy. Play up your eyes, pout your lips, stick out your butt and if you have love handles – hold on and smile at the camera. Letting your man know that YOU think YOU’RE sexy will make him see that all the more. You are being vulnerable and that is something that your man will find uber-sexy!
