I wanted to share my recent finding with you all – The Destination Wedding Planner guide to planning a wedding “from afar.” Not only does the guide have some gorgeous inspiration boards, budget worksheets and photos, but absolutely great advice about how to plan the perfect destination wedding.

Some of my favorite tips:

No matter who’s doing the planning, sign up for a separate email account that’s just for handling wedding details. That way you keep everything in one place!

As you visit venues, always bring your digital camera along so you can remember everything later. You might think it will stay fresh in your mind, but the more places you visit, the more they will blend together.

Gift and welcome bags: A basket full of goodies makes a nice presentation, but nobody wants to carry a basket back home. Package your gifts in a pretty paper gift bag — which is also economical!

Throughout this great scheme of things you receive a B+ for effort and hard work. Where exactly you actually lost everybody was on your particulars.
