One Love Photo captures another wedding to remember — I am obsessed with these live centerpieces! Aren’t they hip, sexy and romantic?

I am also loving the festive sparklers as a fun element to the wedding and a brilliant photo op as well.

* Winnie Couture ~ Romance and Glamour

Posted on October 26th, 2009 by Margaret. Filed under Wedding Dress.

Bridal fashion week took a turn for the dramatic at the Winnie Couture fashion show on Friday night. Winnie, known for her modern take on vintage lines and royal embellishments, did not disappoint with her new line of wedding gowns. From ultra-feminine ruffles to glamorous beaded details, each dress was equally unique …

* A Greek Island Wedding: Opa!

Posted on October 23rd, 2009 by Jeannie. Filed under Destination Weddings.

I love the idea of traveling to a gorgeous location with a few close friends/family and tying the knot. I also really love the thought of staying in that beautiful spot for an additional week for a honeymoon ( I am not a huge fan of air travel!). That is exactly what this couple did - they wed in stunning Santorini. Her wedding dress was found in a local shop for $35! You can see more of the Greek nuptials here!

* A Blog-Style I Do!

Posted on October 22nd, 2009 by Jeannie. Filed under Things we heart.

I had to share these sweet wedding pops — and equally sweet story — from one of my favorite blogs, Bakerella. Rich wrote into Bakerella, telling them how much his girlfriend Melissa loved their blog and how he would love to somehow propose via Bakerella! So … her proposal was actually posted on the site and timed out perfectly. How cute is that? And how cute are these pops?

* Hey Ladies…

Posted on October 22nd, 2009 by Jeannie. Filed under Bridal Shoes.

If you haven’t discovered Hey Lady bridal shoes, let me introduce you! The story behind this line is that Emily and Jessica Leung, also known as the Lueng twins, were tired of throbbing feet and swollen ankles after evenings out in not-so-comfy heels. They developed Hey Lady — the home of “actually-danceable” wedding shoe. Not only are they super comfortable, but they are absolutely adorable. I tried a few pairs on in New York last week ( at Bridal Market) and they really are that light, airy and wearable. Here’s my top pick:

* Eco Couture: Here to Stay

Posted on October 21st, 2009 by Jeannie. Filed under Wedding Dress.

In more great moments and finds while in New York, I met with Adele Wechsler, the talented designer behind an amazing line of wedding dresses that are 100% eco-friendly. What I love is that you can have a green wedding without sacrificing an ounce of style or glamour with your bridal gown. Her dresses are made from organic hemp and silk, vegetable dyes, remnant fabrics and are hand cut designs. Most of her dresses are also multi-functional, you can take of the bottom piece/train and have a fun, sexy dress to wear at your reception.

* DIY Wedding in Texas

Posted on October 20th, 2009 by Margaret. Filed under Real Weddings.

Celia, a beloved PW member and prominent blogger in the wedding world, was kind enough to share her wedding with us! Her budget savvy DIY projects gave such a personal style and southern charm to her DIY wedding…

A few words from the Celia, the lovely bride…

Jeff and I met in Church in Texas (though we went to the same high school) and maintained a long distance relationship for 4 years throughout college, until finally we got married. We now reside in Baltimore, MD where I planned the wedding from afar. It was DIY and we were on a very strict budget (which we came in under- yay!). We got married in Sherman, Texas (smalltown, texas basically) and it was a hot hot day (over 100!).
