We just posted this cool, modern, winter table setting in The Guide. I love this because it is so simple and really makes for a perfect holiday table. Gone are the days of strictly adhering to the red & green palette!

Lately I am loving photos as a way to personalize your special occasion — whether it’s little framed pics everywhere at your reception or a clothes line of family and friends pics. This photo wreath would be such an amazing addition to any weddng, shower or special occasion. Thank you Sweet paul for your brilliance!
* Sweet Friday: The Pie Bar
Posted on December 11th, 2009 by Jeannie. Filed under Wedding Cakes.
I have seen dessert bars, candy buffet tables, wedding pies - but this is my first actual pie bar, courtesy of Weddingbee’s own Mrs. Cowboy Boot. The fresh baked flavors? Blueberry peach, pumpkin, cherry, apple, caramel apple, chocolate cream, lemon meringue and banana cream. Loving it! Have a terrific weekend everyone - bake a pie and stay warm!

The Spring 2010 bridal collections, abound with mini and cocktail length wedding dresses, have arrived in a variety of sillouhettes and with the prettiest of embellishments. These are fun options for a second dress or a “one-and-only” for a less formal affair.

Sunday Suppers revealed their winter dinner table spread … and alas! What a stunning color palette! This would be great during any season, don’t you think? It reminds me of Alfred Angelo’s 2010 bridesmaid collection, featuring the same bold hues!

Weddingbee’s own newlywed, Mrs. Cowboy Boot, revealed the details of her farm-style wedding - which was so creative, inspiring and clever. She used horse shoes as escort cards, and put up a clothesline of photos – personal pics of she, her hubby and all of their wedding guests.
See more from her wedding here - including a budget breakdown of her gorgeous wildflower arrangements!

* Spring Forecast: Peach and Grey
Posted on December 7th, 2009 by Jeannie. Filed under Color Palettes.
Erin from Lucky Me created this inspiration board for us, a sneak peak at what will surely be a gorgeous color combination in weddings next spring.
Erin writes:
I love this trend that Coco+Kelley and Snippet and Ink have noticed. Grey and yellow has been an extremely popular palette this year, but I think peach maybe the new yellow for spring. This slightly muted version of an energetic orange seems perfect for a wedding — cheerful, celebratory, yet slightly soft and romantic. Although I love brown, grey is also an easy to work with neutral. I love a grey suit for the groom and groomsmen. This color palette also lends itself well to small touches of other accent colors, including yellow or red. What do you think the new color trends will be for spring?
