Vintage Romance: Part Three
Posted on January 21st, 2010 by Kate. Filed under Color Palettes, Wedding Inspiration.
This is part three of a three part series contributed by Anne Sage of The City Sage.
Depression Era Florals
In spite of much hardship, the 1930’s were not without beauty and joy. A midsummer twilight gathering calls for homespun calicos, flowers of all hues, and desserts like grandma used to make. Ask guests to donate Goodwill-bound furniture for the decor. Required viewing: O Brother Where Art Thou.

This is SO gorgeous — I love it! I’m usually more of a beach/woodsy wedding girl but this is seriously winning me over to vintage!

I have to say that as I peruse through blogs I have noticed a theme in the past few weeks! That theme seems to be “vintage” weddings and I must say that I am IN LOVE! The look is so romantic, classy, and playful all at one time! Perfect for that “too cute” bride that is interested in doing something a little different!
Yours in Perfect Planning,

Syfy detest it or not it can be a a quality typeface remedy.. the NYPL logo is nice, and I dig the the new pfizer mark. AOL is left to be seen as to if it could be the very best mark. I consider a single or two of your worst marks from the 12 months were notnearly that undesirable. I d isagree with Kraft I kinda dig that and msn.

We’ll let the time-worn question of whether long-distance relationships are a good thing or not fall by the wayside this time, and instead ask: “Why do so many people settle for long-distance relationships?”

I’ve been in love with vintage for quite some time but love the romantic touches even more! Loving the mirrors. I have some hung like that in my home. It reflects so much light to brighten a room and the frames adds such sculptural quality! I cherish my grandma’s hankies, some similar to the ones shown here. So sweet and pretty! I’m inspired to add even more vintage romance to my shop.

I do agree with all of the ideas you’ve introduced for your post. They are very convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very short for newbies. May you please lengthen them a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
