* A Sweet Champagne Reception

Posted on January 14th, 2010 by Jeannie. Filed under Reception.

I learned something new yesterday. That once upon a time, champagne and cake was the usual fare for wedding receptions. No filet mignon, chicken marsala or appetizers galore! I don’t know anyone who would complain about enjoying a party filled with sweets, fresh fruit, love and champagne! See our complete article here!

I know many of us are looking ahead to spring, but I had to share this winter dessert table – after all – many of us are planning weddings for next holiday season. This is one of the most breathtaking creations I have seen, done by the brilliant team at Lollipop Event and Designs. Enjoy the white wonderland!

Being the insane dog lover that I am, I wanted to find a way to incorporate my furbaby into our wedding. Buster (my mini Aussie) doesn’t know it yet, but he will be doing a pose very similar to this one for our save-the-dates! These fabulous thank you cards from Weddingbee‘s own Mrs. Cowboy Boot only cost $85. Bravo!

* Whimsy Woods Wedding Inspiration

I have always loved beach weddings, but am slowly but becoming an even bigger fan of barnyard/farmhouse/woodsy weddings.

The always clever Rock ‘n Roll bride posted shots from this wedding-inspired photo shoot in the woods, and I love every last detail! How amazing would this be? Simple lighting and candles everywhere! The lantern- adorned tree trunks are the perfect touch.

* Photo Booths for 2010

Posted on January 6th, 2010 by Jeannie. Filed under Photography.

It’s a new twist on the classic photo booths we all know and have squeezed into! Photographer Thomas Marlow is creating one-of-a-kind photo booths for wedding parties, inspired by the couple’s style and wedding day.

Partygoers are given a remote so when they are ready for the photo, they just click the button! Creation of these awesome photo ops start at around $2500.
