* Photo Booths for 2010

Posted on January 6th, 2010 by Jeannie. Filed under Photography.

It’s a new twist on the classic photo booths we all know and have squeezed into! Photographer Thomas Marlow is creating one-of-a-kind photo booths for wedding parties, inspired by the couple’s style and wedding day.

Partygoers are given a remote so when they are ready for the photo, they just click the button! Creation of these awesome photo ops start at around $2500.

* The Spirited Gift!

Love, love, love these homemade gift ideas for your bridesmaids, groomsmen or as party favors!  Wedding photographer Victor Sizemore put these together for his pals - and it is brilliant! You can customize each one as well - a little champagne and oranges for the mimosa lover, or some vodka and grapefruits for the greyhound fan!

* Saving & Setting the Date …

As I start to look ahead to my own wedding later this year ( we have not set the date just yet!!!) I found myself looking through pages of talented Etsy creators at some clever and cute stationery options! I thought I’d share some of the finalists:

There’s the sweet, loving couple card ….

The fun, vintage feel …

I really liked the whimsical vibe of this one

But this fun little postcard is so sweet too!

Thoughts?

* What’s Old is New!

Happy 2010! I am very hopeful that this year will be a bright new start and the beginning of a positive new decade. I think it’s important to be appreciative of everyone and everything in your life – and hold onto precious memories, mementos and maybe even a vintage button or two! I adore these vintage cards from Bird & Banner , which use sweet old buttons. Happy New Year all!
