DIY: Fun Fabric Invites

One of our very own Project Wedding staffers, Paul, created these outstanding DIY wedding invitations. He and his fiancee spent hours sewing the fabric envelopes, creating labels and pulling these unique invites together. The total cost: $1.60 per invitation! I am sure if you are interested, I could get the step-by-step from him so let me know!

    Hi – I LOVE these!! My FI and I have been trying to come up with unique textural components to our invitations that we can do ourselves (to save money). Step-by-step instructions would be much appreciated!!

    Holy moly, these are awesome! Fabric envelopes would make such a fun keepsake for the recipients – uh, coupon holders! I’d love to see how this was done, if only to learn exactly how one sews an envelope.

    As a recipient of one of these invites, I have to say it was the most beautiful, personalized one I’ve ever recieved! It’s a clever, enviro friendly keepsake and so representative of them! I cherish the thought of these two love birds spending hours collaborating on a project that expresses their unique creativity and love for one another. xxx

    Sad to say it doesn’t matter who you meet because it will only get passed on to some body else, put into a computer,in a bigger branch who couldn’t care less who you are. A personal bank manager or alike is a thing of the past.
