Homemade Wedding Cake ~ Swoon!

Is it possible to be obsessed with a cake? I am in love with this homemade wedding cake. It is just beautiful, and actually looks like something I might be able to make. Anyways, I had to share my sweet obsession! The cost is about $20, not considering the cake stand and pans.

Trust me, it’s definitely possible. As a fellow cake lover, I appreciate a big, fat, homemade cake with all buttercream and no fondant, please. Thanks for showing that these can look beautiful too!

Very nice!! I don’t use fondant much, certainly NOT by choice!! I make my own when I do-and I make my own butter cream, with real butter, not shortening like in the grocery/big box store chains. YUK!! So congrats on the effort, it is really beautifully done!
My favorite part of this cake, is the use of the Rosemary. I have a HUGE Rosemary bush that we use for cooking, but never thought of putting it on a cake!! It is beautiful!!!

That is gorgeous! Rosemarry is a sign of good luck and was used in Weddings for generations. Many old wedding photographs display rosemarry garlands or bunches held or surrounding brides. Many people are harkening back to the past and including it in their weddings somehow. This is a fantastic way to do it!
