A Breakfast Bridal Shower
Posted on August 25th, 2010 by Kate. Filed under bridal shower.
Speaking of showers… Our friend Dionne sent over this fun, kitschy breakfast bridal shower that she planned for her sister! Dionne has the cutest ideas…. Check out her blog, City of Dionne, to see more of her work and say hi.
My favorites are the vintage toasters and the french toast kebabs. The bottom right photo is of the creative genius herself, Dionne, and her sister, Karla. Cute cute cute! See how she pulled off this adorable event here.

I’m the sister… and I LOVED my shower. Dionne did a terrific job and it looked even more amazing in person than the photos can show. The invites were adorable, and every decoration at the shower was beautiful. She even created a handmade scrapbook and had all the guests contribute by decorating a page with a note to me and a photo. The party favors of pancake mix in a jar were fabulous & everyone loved them.
It was a super cute event from every detail that Dionne put into it. I’m very grateful to my big sis!!!

I am already buying them a cruise for their honeymoon, but I wanted to give her something at her bridal shower. I bought a one night stay for their wedding night to stay at a bed and breakfast. I wanted to know if this would be a tacky gift for me to give to her.
