Homemade Honeymoon Suite

Posted on August 27th, 2010 by Kate. Filed under Things we heart.

Yes, you read that right.  If you haven’t seen this amazing DIY wedding featured around the web… well.. do check it out, it’s quite extraordinary.

My favorite part, however… is the homemade honeymoon suite… a canvas bell tent that they put on a cliff overlooking the sea.  How utterly romantic.

We hoped for nice weather with some sun and clouds, and lucked out with a gorgeous wedding day that was simply perfect. We had 380 guests attend our wedding reception, and we could not have felt more joy and love on our wedding day.

Wonderful coverage! I just came back from the Toronto airport, and boy, it’s busy, despite the weather. I am pleased to observe that travel industry is back to business. Corporate managers are sending their employees back on the road, as obviously, travel is vital to their organisations’ success. And good news for all of us is that U.S. enterprises are forecast to spend 5 percent more on travel in 2011 than they did last. And let’s remember, last year companies spent approximately $230 billion. If that’s not the sign of a rebound, then what is? Organisations return to booking corporate retreats, which is great for us as service providers for the industry. It should be a good year, which I wish to all of you.
