* Romona Keveza Rocks the Runway!
Posted on October 18th, 2010 by Jeannie. Filed under Wedding Dress.
Today couldnt have started off any better, as we were treated to Romona Keveza’s Legends and Couture Lines for Fall 2011. Legends was inspired by the style of Jackie Kennedy during the White House era, while Couture was influenced by Breakfast at Tiffanys. The result? Beautiful, clean lines, soft textures and even gorgeous hues like tiffany blue and blush. I also got to sit next to Kleinfeld’s Fashion Director Randy Fenoli from TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress,” and he was fabulous!
Randy told me he loved Claire Pettibone, Rivini and Monique Lhuillier’s shows - and Keveza, naturally. Up next… hanging out with Badgley Mischka! Stay tuned…

Posted on October 17th, 2010 by Kate. Filed under Wedding Dress.
Douglas Hannant presented his latest and greatest this evening in an ice-cold winter wonderland at the New York Plaza Hotel. It was precision in high fashion… and we loved every minute of it.
This silk crepe tuxedo with satin trim was stunning on the runway. We thought this would be great for a super-hip bride who wants something completely non-traditional.

The voluminous sash embellishment on this one is bold and completely chic.
Totally digging the front bustle. This dress is innovative and contemporary.
The high-fashion take on the ball gown. We were taken by the textures…!
“Allesandra” features a microsequin tulle ball gown and a basket weave ribbon bodice.

On a “side” note, I adored the sweeping ponytails and pearl cuff bracelets. Enjoy the pretty preview … because we have much more coming from this plentiful bridal market.
