Alluring. Amazing. Absolute Amsale - what else can we say? Our close friend Weddingbee’s own head honcho Mrs. Penguin just adored this collection, and we can see why! FYI: Check out her insightful post about what NY market is really like! The one thing I love most about Amsale is the wearability of these high-waisted gowns, flattering for all of our different, fabulous figures. I would definitely need a forgiving dress after all of the pizza and pretzels I have consumed this weekend! OK, onto the next show…

What an embarrassment of fashion riches today! Between the Claire Pettibone extravaganza to Christos and the ravishing dresses from Rivini, Saturday has not dissapointed. I am full of N.Y. pizza and happy to share these gorgeous dresses from the Rivini collection for Fall 2011. Loving the model’s messy updos and the dashes of black lace! This first dress is my fave short gown so far from the weekend…

I kid you not… I actually became weepy and welled up with tears during the Claire Pettibone runway presentation.  It was so exquisite, extraordinary… an outpouring of her spirit into twenty unique and exceptional bridal gowns.  This season’s collection was inspired by Fairies and sweet spirits of the night.  Here’s just a few… I can’t wait to share the full collection!

Today is a very glamorous day in New York, we just took in the Christos collection for Fall 2011 - and every dress that floated down the runway was modern, romantic and very impressive. There was delicate lace, beautiful flower appliques, a celebration of sheer fabrics, beading … here are some highlights:

I swear, Angel Sanchez designs with the Goddess in mind.  These dresses are simply divine and this first one tops my list.. My first favorite of the weekend!  The third dress below is a very close second…

I have seen a lot of things during the last two seasons at bridal market - but today was the first time I have seen a dress actually turned inside out on the runway! Johnna Ho’s first bridal collection was interesting — a blend of tuxedo-inspired bodices, bustiers, tulle, feathers and drama! Loved the fitted bodices and bustier-inspired looks and wasn’t really feeling the inside-out number or the Spanish, off-the-shoulder creation.

We just left Thread’s New York studio.. and we love their no fuss attitude…  And we love that they’ve heard the cry for a bridal line!   Here’s a few of our very favorites from Thread’s Spring 2011 bridesmaid and (brand new) bridal line.   The textures were a delight… and such a treat, paired with the fresh, contemporary style of the Thread look.
