* Real Wedding: Brie + Dan

Posted on November 2nd, 2010 by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings.

Our friends at The Marin Studio sent over photos of Brie and Dan’s relaxed, country summer style wedding … Enjoy these vibrant and scenic photos and read on for more details about the day!

Dan and Brie held their casual and modern country wedding in beautiful, rural West Marin County- just North of San Francisco. Despite a potential threat of light rain, the ceremony was held outside under tall pine trees with about 100 close friends and family members looking on. The scenery was breathtaking.  Colorful wildflower arrangements threaded the summer country motif throughout the day.  The couple posed for portraits in front of a vintage bicycle decorated with a basket of flowers.

During the reception, friends and family dined on a delicious meal and drank whiskey sour sweet tea with lemonade.  It was a relaxed day- Dan read a toast from his Blackberry and later, guests enjoyed cupcakes and pies.

* Dog Day Afternoon

Posted on November 2nd, 2010 by Jeannie. Filed under Ceremony, Photography, Things we heart.

To have Rover in the wedding party or not? In my case, his name is Buster. We love our pup like a child, and couldn’t think of not having him be part of the wedding in some way. While he is a little energetic to do a walk down the aisle, we did include him in wedding photos:

I am glad we did. That way he was a part of the day forever — and didn’t have to possibly create havoc during the ceremony! One final piece of advice: If your furbaby has a handsome mane like ours does, opt for the below shirt and tie look. Buster sported an adorable red bow tie, but you couldn’t really see it.
