My Bridal Obsessions of 2010

Posted on December 24th, 2010 by Jeannie. Filed under Things we heart.

It is fun to revisit the year, the trends and all things creative in the wonderful world of weddings! Here are my top bridal obsessions from this banner year:

1. Banners, obviously! Burlap, chalk, cupcake wrappers – you name it, I love them.

2.  A Sweet Bar: this can be a cookie bar, a smore bar, an ice cream bar … pies, you get the idea!

3. Chalkboards. There is something really quaint and charming about these when associated with a wedding. I created a chalkboard escort board for my wedding – it was a fun project.

4. Cake bunting: A cake is far more precious with tiny flags adorning it. Enough said.

5. Cake pops. They’re not just for children’s birthday parties anymore. What a refreshing, sweet spin on the traditional wedding cake.

6. Fruit.  Lemon centerpieces, pear place cards, cherry-filled favor bags. Fruit was everywhere this year, and I can’t get enough!

I like your site. Your texts are interesting. I got here by oversight and I started reading. I became interested in the topic and I am thinking it I could use your texts on my paper, of course with the quotation. Please contact with me, thank you.
