I thought Kristie and Matt’s wedding was such perfect inspiration for the bride who wants an ultra-feminine color palette with understated, elegant style. Here’s some fun vintage love for your Friday afternoon!  Sara and Geordan’s wedding had such a darling homespun vibe, complete with lots of their favorite things!  Along with a group bike ride around Vancouver, the couple celebrated their union with a mini coffee-shop reception and a large barn dance that lasted into the night.   The bridesmaids helped to DIY the bouquets, and the evening sweets were a variety of homemade baked goods. Our dear friends over at Paper Antler sent over this sweet, sweet Tennessee wedding the other day.  We are totally in awe of Karis and Stephen’s unique meeting and we can’t get enough of the beautiful and natural simplicity of their oh-so-happy day!   Read more down below:

Karis is one of seven children, and grew up in Ireland.  Stephen, who is one of three children, grew up in Chicago but has been living in Nairobi, Kenya for the past four years.  Karis + Stephen were introduced through a mutual friend in Kenya, and after dating long distance (very long distance) for the majority of their relationship, and after a proposal atop the summit of Mt. Kenya, they wed in Chattanooga, TN, surrounded by friends and family from all over the world.  Their reception took place at a quaint bed and breakfast, and featured some serious dancing, lawn games, and fireworks across the pond, which were a surprise from Karis to Stephen.

Karis + Stephen exhibit a joy and a love that is contagious.  Their smiles light up a room and it was rare to see either one of them not on the brink of laughter.  We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of their day and we wish them all the best as they continue their journey back to Nairobi, Kenya!
