Travel Theme: Three Ways
Posted on August 17th, 2011 by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings, Wedding Inspiration.
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about wedding themes… mostly wondering what 2012 brides have on their minds… Choosing a specific ‘theme’ to represent the day on which you take vows of everlasting love is really quite a big decision. I’d want to choose a concept or symbol that is super meaningful to my relationship… That said, I totally love that Maryland couple, Christen and Josh, chose a playful travel theme for their special day… they are ‘travel obsessed’ so it was just the ticket! A special thank you to Tara Welch for sending these pics!
There are so many things to love about this wedding, including the boarding pass invites, hot air balloon décor, those funny gnomes, vintage globes, and Christen and Josh’s fresh approach to planning!

I love the travel theme and using maps and globes. It is also a cute idea to have suitcases and picnic baskets to represent the travel theme. The snow cones also sound really good.
