I just love a good project… I’m musing about this rustic wood centerpiece (& escort card) tutorial we received from the *fabulous* Victoria Hudgins last week.

Here’s a peek into how to get that oh-so-rustic reception charm, but you can catch the full article here. Like a cable knit sweater on a fall day, engraved wood emits a feeling of cozy warmth.

According to Victoria, engraving is addicting- so plug in those wood burners and let the fun begin!

* Lush Botanical Real Wedding

Right now, this is my fave. I’m pretty much obsessed with these photographs from Cat and Jon’s cool Santa Barbara wedding. The lush and vibrant botanicals… the metallic glass accents… the STUNNING film photography. It’s almost overwhelming. Cat and Jon made their day a blend of eclectic styling and neutral tones paired with florals the colors of a California sunset. Thanks to Braedon Photography for capturing this day so brilliantly, and then, of course, for sharing it with us…!
