Trend Snippet: Reflecting Light

Posted on May 4th, 2012 by Kate. Filed under Wedding Dress.

I mean, really, what bride doesn’t want to be purely luminous on her wedding day?  Heck, I’d like to be luminous everyday.  So today I’m highlighting gowns with ethereal shine.  The sequins and glistening beads on these gowns made me feel all glowy, and I’m guessing, if that’s the look you’re after, they’ll do the same for you!

One. Champagne by Monique Lhuillier

{View more Monique gowns here}

Two. Fougere, Mini Glamour + Drizzle Overlay, and Mini Glamour from Reem Acra’s Spring 2013 Collection

{See more from this collection here}

Three. Sequenced Ballgown by Marchesa

Four. N103 and N100 by Angel Sanchez

Five. Gown at Left by Anne Bowen; Gown at Right by  Jim Hjelm’s Blush

Six. Get the Look for Less: Sequenced Blouson Gown by David’s Bridal

Wishing you a warm and light-filled weekend!

xoxo

    The very first gown took my BREATH away!!! I wish I were getting married again! I think the hair and makeup could have been a little “more” but the gown would still have taken the spotlight.

    I am looking for that sequence dress you featured from David’s bridal. Can you send me a link?

    You see the word combustion thrown around a lot in health news, but what definitely is it? The rejoinder: It’s your body’s complex test to struggle off detrimental pathogens, irritants, and even defective cells, and kick-start the curing process.
