One-of-a-Kind Vintage Charmer by Oz Visuals

If I had to describe Danielle and Cody’s day in two words… darling and dreamy are the two that come to mind. These college sweethearts planned a wedding centered around summer and their deep appreciation for family and friends. Danielle is from Iowa, Cody from California, so their families are spread far and wide. They knew it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get all of their loved ones in the same place at the same time, so the week of the wedding was like a family reunion! Everyone came together to help out with last minute details and the result was so lovely. Get ready to swoon over the handmade details, gorgeous setting, and unforgettable vintage style, all photographed by Oz Visuals.
Danielle is a country girl at heart, so Honey and Poppies used a variety of wildflowers and pastoral blooms in the floral design. The bridesmaids wore fun, vintage style frocks by etsy designer Miss Brache. A palette of teal, coral, yellow, green and white gave the romantic celebration a splash of sweet summertime whimsy.
The ceremony took place under a rustic floral archway on the awe-inspiring Saddlerock Ranch property. Guests found shade under pastel parasols, as they reveled in the couple’s heartfelt vows. Cody’s sweet expression of commitment moved Danielle and half the crowd to tears.
After a perfect ceremony, guests enjoyed a casual cocktail hour with blankets on the lawn, baskets of food, and bocce ball. The reception was an absolute dream, with lights hanging from trees overhead, an elaborate spread of charming, eclectic décor and family style tables that encouraged conversation and connecting. Danielle and Cody poured themselves into love-filled DIYs and you can tell that every last detail was thoughtfully planned and executed. What a charmer!

These photos are interesting, mostly because of the great decor this couple has selected for their lovely outdoor wedding. With regards to the photography itself, I’m not usually a fan of unnaturally processed images, but it works in this situation. The photos give it a very lazy summery ambiance.
One caveat: why did you choose to include the first image? It’s so awkward with the way her shoe (which looks ugly) just sticks out from beneath her dress. It’s at such a weird angle as well! How are we seeing it’s bottom? It could’ve definitely been edited out.
P.S. That wedding sculpture (cake) looks absolutely amazing!

One last point: the setting for the very last photo — the tree with lights at night — is just awesome. I wish more of the weddings I shot had as much thoughtfulness put into them. It looks like a fairytale.
