Handcrafted Fall Fest Reception by Meg Ruth Photo
Posted on November 19th, 2012 by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings.
This week’s real wedding has all the elements of a quintessential fall day. The amber, peach, coral and gold palette, topped with a heartfelt family feel made this just the story to share days before the holiday. The newlyweds- Juliet and Stuart- share a love of indie music and being outdoors, so they hoped for a rustic style barn wedding. Hosting their big day in a barn didn’t turn out, but with the help of friends and family, they spruced up the Cultural Hall of Rosecrest Ward to look like a rustic, eclectic little venue with vintage whimsy and fall charm. Meg Ruth captured their sweet connection and creative style in rich, beautiful photographs. Enjoy every last kiss and bit of autumn color!
The couple has been together for years, with Stu waiting for Juliet while she was a missionary in Argentina. They both now work full time and attend school — and did so all while planning the wedding! After a private ceremony at the LDS Temple in Salt Lake City, the couple was greeted by a crowd of loved ones to wish them well. Juliet has been a Martha Stewart and Anthropologie fan for years, so for her, it was all about the handmade, eclectic vibe. The bride and her cousin, Kim from Designs by KF, rolled up their sleeves to incorporate DIY elements like blue mason jar centerpieces, paper goods, and reception backdrops- the result was full-on charm!
From the exquisite florals to the vintage rentals, the fabulous DIY- décor factor to the darling cake, every ounce was meaningful, personal, and utterly heartfelt.

Sparkling monograms..fabulous. I just don’t see the bridesmaids too much fitting in with the style outfit they have.
