Greet your guests with these camp-inspired leather escort cards, perfect for woodsy, outdoor receptions.

Materials: leather scraps • scissors • stamp and handle set for leather • mallet • push pins • revolving hole punch

Step One • Cut scrap leather into various shapes, making sure that the shapes that you cut will be large enough to stamp your guest’s name and table number.

Step Two • Stamp each letter of your guest’s name, using a stamp handle and mallet. Then, add the table number.

Step Three • Next, punch a hole at the top of your leather shape, using a revolving leather hole punch.

Step Four • Once all your leather pieces have been stamped and hole-punched, arrange the shapes in desired pattern.

Step Five • Hang from a colorful piece of framed fabric that is backed with either foam core or cork, so the pins will stay in place.

Take it further: Not a fan of plain leather? Paint or stain the leather prior to stamping for an extra pop of color. Or simply paint the edges a bright shade for a more subtle look.
