Brittany + Jason: A Darling Southern Wedding by Annabella Charles Photography

Another day, another springy Tennessee wedding to fall for (we couldn’t stop talking about Heather + Tyler’s Gallatin celebration last week). This Monday though, all eyes are on blushing Southern belle Brittany and the classic Southern ceremony she held with now-husband Jason at her family home in Cordova. Their navy, peach, and ivory nuptials are the perfect expression of preppy romance, especially when set in a lush backyard on a crisp June night. Big thanks to Annabella Charles Photography for sharing the day with us! You can see even more details in the full gallery.

Brittany and Jason met during graduate school in Knoxville. Busy schedules kept them apart after a few unremarkable first meetings, but the chemistry became almost immediately clear after their first official date.  They saw each other every day after, and got engaged nine short months later.

Brittany and her mother planned the wedding all on their own. Our favorite detail? The springy floral arrangements created by the Haute Horticulture—so many pretty variations on a classic color palette! That University of Tennessee cake is pretty creative, as well.

After saying ‘I do’, the couple took a tropical honeymoon in Jamaica. We wish them years of happiness together, and must say thanks one last time to Annabella Charles for sharing these photos with us!  See the full ceremony over on Project Wedding.
