Natalia + Michael: A Modern Chicago City Wedding by Gerber & Scarpelli Photography
Posted by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings

Happy Monday, everyone! Today we’re sharing a modern, elegant wedding all the way from the Windy City. Natalia and Michael hosted an elegant ivory and gold celebration at Chicago’s Rookery Building, and we’re loving the way the couple stuck with simple blooms and a muted pastel palette for their spring wedding. And how gorgeous is Natalia’s retro hairstyle? See more photos of her look (along with some stunning only-in-Chicago shots)  in our full gallery. Thanks to Gerber & Scarpelli Photography for sharing the day with us!

Facebook is the one to thank for this happy union—Michael used the social media site to track Natalia down while they were undergraduate students at the University of Dayton! The duo exchanged vows in Chicago’s Assumption Catholic Church, then headed to the Rookery Building for a modern ballroom reception. We’re major fans of the way they used tea lights and simple place settings to give a romantic air to the room.

Thanks again to Gerber & Scarpelli for sharing this wonderful wedding with us! If you’re in the mood for more big city inspiration, check out Michelle and Marty’s Autumn in Chicago wedding and Meagan and David’s elegant Milwaukee nuptials.
