Hannah + Joe: A Modern Wildflower Inspired Wedding by Anni Cee Photographie

Happy Monday readers! Did everyone have a good holiday weekend? We know we’re struggling a bit with readjusting to the office, so we thought we’d share a gorgeous Autumn-inspired wedding to distract ourselves a bit. Photographed beautifully by Anni Cee Photographie, Hannah and Joe’s modern DIY Chicago wedding stands out for two main reasons: the florals and the fashion. See how wonderfully they pair together below! For more details from the day, be sure to check out our full gallery.

Hannah and Joe met at a rooftop BBQ at Joe’s apartment building in Chicago. They married at the Hubbard Inn, a restaurant/event space in the city’s River North neighborhood. “Warm and elegant with rich wood and book lined walls, the venue helped set the tone for the entire wedding,” says the bride.

The reception was an almost completely DIY endeavor. The couple made all the decor themselves, and purchased both desserts and roses for the centerpieces at Costco.

“It was a magical night,” remembers the bride. “The smiles on our faces were mirrored on the faces of our friends and family throughout the whole wedding.” Thanks again to Anni Cee for sharing the day with us! You can see more details in Hannah and Joe’s full gallery. Looking for more modern wedding inspiration? Check out Lauren and Mike or Susan and Sean.
