Taryn + Eddie: A Multicultural Fall California Garden Wedding By Petula Pea Photography

Taryn and Eddie were married at Darlington House, a villa, in La Jolla, Calif. ”I am half Mexican, and I have always been very influenced by Spanish culture and architecture, and I wanted that to reflect in our wedding,” Taryn said. “But I also wanted everything to feel elegant and relaxed.” The bride wore an a-line wedding gown with straps and accessorized her loose curls with a jeweled hair pin on one side. Colorful bouquets featured roses, dahlias, and succulents as well as the aisle markers too. Both of Tayrn’s parents escorted her down the aisle towards her groom, wearing a three-piece gray suit with a patterned tie, in the outdoor garden. Following the nuptials, the outdoor garden was transformed into the reception with papel picado, or Mexican cut paper, hanging overhead. Guests found their seats from bunting escort cards alongside the couple’s engagement photos and enjoyed watching “Mrs. Always Right” perform her first dance with “Mr. Right” to “The Girl” by City and Colour. Lisa + Adam: A Rustic Blush Mountainside Georgia Resort Wedding By Brio Art

After five years of dating, Lisa and Adam decided to make it official at The Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa with the Blue Ridge Mountains as their backdrop. The bride wore a Casablanca Couture gown with a sweetheart neckline whereas bridesmaids wore an array of different colored pink dresses they chose themselves. “For the bridesmaids, I wanted their bouquets to literally be in their hair, so they carried eucalyptus and loaded their hair with flowers,” Lisa said. As guests arrived to the ceremony, cold water was offered in beverage dispensers and straw fans to beat the heat. They couldn’t help but notice the “Cowabunga” sign as they found their seats. “We are both HUGE Mountain Dew drinkers and have been since we were kids,” she said. “So, during our vows, to everyone’s surprise, when we said ‘I do’ we each took a swig of Mountain Dew! So, really we said ‘I DEW!” Cocktail hour featured lawn games such as corn hole and giant jenga. Reception tables were decorated with table numbers made by the bride’s grandmother, and mason jars used as lighting vessels hung from the high beamed ceiling. In lieu of a guest book, Lisa’s dad created a canvas, where each guest could paint a portion. The newlyweds now have it showcased in their home. See the full board here.

Victoria + Matthew: A Rainy Day Purple Minnesota Garden Wedding By JaneCane Photography

It rained on and off throughout Victoria and Matthew’s fall wedding day, and they used it to their advantage in photos with umbrellas! The bride wore Vera Wang’s “Gemma” gown whereas her bridesmaids “wore one of five different dress styles . . with the hopes of creating a chic, mismatched look,” Victoria said. The outdoor ceremony was glowing with candlelight in hurricane vases as she walked down the aisle to met her groom and grandmother, who was the officiant. “Our wedding party was fantastic and embraced the chilly ceremony with smiles on their faces and not one complaint,” she said. Reception decor incorporated natural textures like tall curly willows and modern elements like mercury glass vases. “We had caramel-chocolate-peanut-butter apples made by family friends in Duluth waiting for each guest at each place setting,” she said. And a gold wedding cake that featured a topper of eggplant calla lilies. See the full board here.
