Amy and Taylor were married at Stafford’s Perry Hotel in Petoskey, Mich., perched high on a bluff overlooking the Little Traverse Bay. “The weather was perfect!” Amy said. “We got really lucky because it had been a fairly chilly summer up until just before our weekend, but it was sunny, warm, and beautiful on our wedding day.” The bride wore a one-shoulder wedding gown, accessorized with her great-grandmother’s pearl and crystal necklace, which was also worn by her grandmother, her sister, my mother, and two aunts when they got married, while the groom wore a white jacket with black tuxedo pants and bow tie. The outdoor ceremony took place under a tent. Aisles were scattered with rose petals and lanterns hung overhead. Reception tables featured silver glass mercury candleholders and vases filled with single roses and mini lavender-scented lotions as favors since Michigan is known for growing it. Pure elegance with a traditional twist! See the full board here.
