Adele Wechsler showed off a totally re-vamped bridal collection and new headpiece and wedding party collections during New York bridal market!

The headpieces are such a fabulous addition– they are so angelic and ethereal to me.  I love the loose, natural hairstyles by Aveda too…

In the dress department, she stayed true to her earthy, bohemain style- but infused the collection with chic, fitted sillhouettes and gorgeous textured fabrics.

And last but not least, introducing the new bridesmaid dresses in signature heirloom colors!  All of Adele’s gowns are vegetable-dyed.. giving these frocks pretty, organic hues.

We just left Thread’s New York studio.. and we love their no fuss attitude…  And we love that they’ve heard the cry for a bridal line!   Here’s a few of our very favorites from Thread’s Spring 2011 bridesmaid and (brand new) bridal line.   The textures were a delight… and such a treat, paired with the fresh, contemporary style of the Thread look.

Mixing and matching wedding colors can sometimes be tricky, but when it’s done well it can be absolutely awe-inspiring. That’s why I was so excited to see the colorful mix of flowers and bridesmaids dresses from Emily and Greg’s wedding on the shores of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Truly inspiring!

I am continually impressed with Simple Silhouettes‘ fresh approach to bridesmaid and bridal wear.  Their newest collections feature frocks with clean lines, great construction, and classic embellishments with a hint of fun.   Here’s a peek into the 2010 lookbook which spans the style scale from vintage-inspired to chic and tailored, all the while remaining lovely and simple.  Oh sweet rose ikat print dress… how I love thee….

While previewing the Jim Hjelm Occasions Fall 2010 collection, we simply delighted in the use of vibrant and rich colors.  Models paraded dresses in shades of Opal, Cherry, Indigo, Fucshia, Graphite, Midnight and Pomegranate.  Not only did the colors capture our hearts, but the silhouettes and embellishments reflected a fashion-forward design approach for the savvy bridal party.  Take a look at some favorites from the show:
