Everywhere I went during bridal market in NY I kept hearing, “The trend is purple!” Purple bridesmaid dresses, purple flowers, purple sashes and purple cupcakes! I am in love with this orchid bouquet by The French Bouquet, as well as this array of purple arrangements, which could be DIY’d!

I have suddenly found myself in the wedding planning pool ( just got engaged over the weekend!) and am loving this rich chocolate color palette on betsywhite’s fabulous blog, flights of fancy! They have put together color palette’s for every season and hue you can imagine - they are gorgeous and very inspirational!

One of my favorites, betsywhite stationery boutique, has created these gorgeous color palette inspiration boards – color combinations fit to inspire just about everyone! I just had to share this lovely fall palette.

The pink and orange color palette from this wedding is so playful and vibrant — as Amorology weddings put together this amazing day for the blessed bride and groom. Bridesmaids wore hot pink sandals and carried pink and orange parasols. Lovely touches like that made the day unique and festive!

I completely love Fall weddings - the warm tones, pumpkin everything and autumn leaves! Here is a little inspiration for all of you Halloween brides!

As most of you savvy brides know, a huge trend right now in weddings is color! Tie in your color palette of the day with these stunning sashes from icing101’s Etsy shop! Custom orders are taken, so your special colors can be incorporated right into your wedding gown. At around $50, this is a stylish steal! They also do custom boutonnieres, headbands and other gorgeous accessories for weddings.

I think that black and white is really one of the most classic and elegant options for a wedding. Today I’m putting my own spin on that tradition by exchanging the white for a warm cream or ecru color.

Maybe it’s the similarity of the colors to sepia photographs, the feather and rhinestone accents, or the vintage 1930’s style of the dress, but I find this palette very romantic and sophisticated in a charmingly old-fashioned way.

The domestic goddess Martha Stewart is responsible for the lovely black and cream tables and the anemone bouquet in the bottom right corner.

Amethyst is my birthstone, and in the last couple of years I have become mildly obsessed with the green variety. I love, love, love this Moroccan-themed display from Sunday Suppers! How breathtaking is this color palette for a bridal shower or unforgettable wedding? According to famed wedding planner Mindy Weiss, this color combo has been a big trend in many of the weddings she has worked on recently.

Beautiful!  Event planners Details Details put together this stunning outdoor affair, which was all about the beach and aqua as the color inspiration. Among the sweet elements; starfish napkin treatments, guests all received custom note cards as favors, there was a surprise mini wedding cake for the groom’s son (who loves chocolate!). Other highlights: the champagne ice bar, the sushi station and shell chandeliers!
