I came in today and in my mailbox were some of the most amazing cake photos I have ever seen from EatCakeBeMerry. I am in love with their designs and creativity. Here is some sweet inspiration:

The Vanilla Bake Shop, that is! Their story is as sweet as their creative cakes and dessert bars! The lady behind all of the vanilla goodness, Amy Berman, got her inspiration from her mother - who always surprised and delighted the family by baking amazing cakes and homemade goodies! It’s Friday, so I am thinking about the weekend and that includes sweets! I allow myself a little food “cheating” on Saturdays and Sundays! The Cupcake blog  is amazing because it not only features every possible cupcake flavor imaginable ( the one pictured is grape) — it also contains step-by-step instructions for how to create every sweet little treat.  Why waste hundreds or likely thousands of dollars on a wedding cake? Give yourself a practice run, maybe even enlist any culinary-minded pals or bridesmaids, and you may save yourself a fortune.

Sinfully delicious and temptingly tantalizing, this White Sugar Dessert bar entices the palate with heirloom ceramic pieces topped with an array of confections. Jawbreakers, cupcakes and pile of sugar-dusted donuts topped with butterflies made for delectable drama, while meringues, nonpareils and mini-marshmallows were delicate and dainty. Vintage lace served as the textural base, while individual tags with ribbon tied everything together. The all white, candy-couture was nestled under a birch branch canopy for utterly sweet shelter!
