Forgive me, but this post is about to get quite long…

When BHLDN sent over a peek at their new separates line… I found myself caught for (what seemed like an eternity) in the romance of days past.  I love that each piece is extraordinary, essential, and unique in its own right… yet completely compatible with the selection of pairings.

I mean that neckline… come on?! So lovely.

Mmmm… and what a nice style idea for a fall wedding… a fitted knit and a high waisted ball gown skirt…

While I was at it, I couldn’t resist sharing my three faves from the gown collection too… I’m darn glad I’m not getting married right now, because it would be impossible to choose… (one for the ceremony, one for the reception, and one for…. hmmm???)

I’m sooo excited about discovering London-based designer Minna!  Her wedding collection is a representation of two of my passions… eco-fashion and, of course, vintage-inspired beauty.  Even with the exchange rate, these pretties are still super-affordable, but full of rich, luxe style.

I’m so happy to tell you guys about Chicago designer, Veronica Sheaffer’s, first bridal collection!   It is darling.. lovely.. beautiful.  In the words of Veronica, the Fall 2011 collection “marries old-fashioned sweetness with modern individuality.”  I should say so.  And the accessories? For years I’ve been saying that my dream wedding will be in some island paradise- and to wed, I’d wear a white bikini.  Thank God somebody finally gets me!  Needless to say, my very favorite of Oscar’s 2012 collection is this first look: a sheer organza caftan with a white floral guipure embroidered bikini.  So lovely and pure.

I’m just thinking that these new Nicole Miller’s are sorta gorgeous.  You know, sort of.  Ok.. I’m obsessed.  Her dresses wear sooo beautifully in real time.  The shapes of are incredibly sophisticated… contemporary, yet altogether timeless.
